Arrived on time, was kept unmelted by ice pack. I've eaten these almonds before and they are wonderfully addictive, so this order was a gift for a friend (who is now also a fan).

I was pretty disappointed with these Lemoncello Chocolate Covered Almonds. The biggest issue is the value—you simply don’t get enough for the price. The package looks decent at first, but once you open it, it feels like there’s far less product than expected, which makes it hard to justify buying again. The flavor is also hit-or-miss. The lemon coating is quite strong and leans more artificial than refreshing, overpowering both the chocolate and the almond. Instead of a balanced blend, it ends up tasting overly sweet with a sharp citrus note that doesn’t really work. Texture-wise, they’re fine—there’s a crunch from the almond—but that’s about the only positive. Overall, the experience doesn’t match the premium price point the product seems to aim for.
