My wife is in memory care and unable to feed herself. She also has a very head down posture and feeding her had become quite difficult.These spoons are the answer, silicone is soft but bite proof and they are pliable so you can bend them in position best suited for need. The staff was very pleased with them also and I ordered more.

Pros - our granddaughter can’t stab herself with them if she’s trips while holding it (they bend). They’re soft to the touch, and they aren’t in the standard bright, garish colors of most children’s items.Cons- they seem a bit big for her hands, but I can’t determine if that’s just a “her” issue, or if other kids would struggle with their size. If horribly mangled, they never quite “straighten out” to look new again.

These spoons are so nice! I mean how much can you say about a spoon but the color combinations are just delightful, and the quality is excellent. These are sturdy yet flexible spoons and I can't wait to use them! Unfortunately the pack I got is recommended for 12 months plus so be careful when ordering as these will be too big for our newborn anytime soon. This is definitely more for a toddler as the handles a bit longer than a baby spoon but seems like you can order different sizes. Most baby's are gonna want to teeth on this rubbery material but it's probably better to not actually use as a teether. I appreciate the plastic case they come in so I can keep these separate and easy to identify in the drawer.

I got these spoons for BLW and by comparison to the silicone ones I had from another brand for my older child, these KeaBabies ones blow those out of the water. First off, the silicone is sturdy yet bendy, but also soft enough to be chewed on and not be destroyed by baby's gnawing easily. I also like how easy they are to hand wash, as there are no grooves or secondary parts or holes in them (like some other known brands like to make). I throw these into boiling water to sterilize alongside my baby bottles and so far they've held up great. I adore the Pastel Sky colors and am happy that they don't discolor from bright orange or purple foods (not even the light beige spoon!). These also don't retain odor.These spoons can be bent at an angle, which is especially helpful for when I'm trying to feed a rebellious toddler on one side and a baby on my other side. No more maneuvering my arms at weird angles. The handle of the spoon has a slight curve, which allows my baby to have a strong grip on it. We've got a long way to go with practicing, but he seems to be picking it up easily.I also appreciate how these come in a sturdy, transparent holding case for travel or just for keeping the spoons sanitary at home. Seriously the best silicone baby spoons we've ever had, and at under $12 for 3, the price can't be beat.
