One - Thermal Imaging Camera for iOS Smartphones (iPhone 15 and Newer w/USB-C), 240x180 Super Resolution (80x60 Native IR)

I've had one of these before, but when I updated my phone I never bothered to get the newer version. But thanks to the holiday season I went ahead and got the newest model compatible to my phone and right out of the gate discovered with it that the plumbing in my new location is flush against a freezing exterior wall. I put insulation on various parts and checked again after a good 30 minutes confirmed everything is going to be OK. If I had not utilized this, these pipes would have surely froze overnight and the cost to repair that would be unpleasant. The installation is simple. The functionality is accurate and easy to use. The only thing I recommend is make sure you check the settings so it's based on the temperature system you prefer (like Fahrenheit versus Celsius). You do not need to buy anything from the app for this to provide you the basic information you need to know if you have a water leakage, if you have drafts in your insulation, if you're electrical wiring is running too hot, or if your pipes are below 40°. If you can afford it, get it.

Easy to use

Really 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ but I posted here because everyone reads these 1 star reviews first. These FLIR One cameras are great for light duty thermal imaging. I have an older FLIR One that only fits the iPhone 5 so I got this one to use with my newer iPhone. The camera captures hot circuit breakers, finds heat ducts in walls, and missing insulation, etc. FLIRs MSX feature overlays a wireframe image over the thermal image to aid identification of things in view. The fact that it attaches to a smartphone means that images are easy to store and share. I didn’t have any issues with iOS compatibility but the USB-C on the FLIR One is adjustable but too short for rubberized Otter Box cases. I was suspicious of the claim it would fit the deep slot in my case so I got this extender; Amazon number B07MBWH7QG. It works great as you can see in the video.

Works great for my iPhone 15. Only downside is if the screen times out it’ll take awhile to reconnect. Useful for finding air leaks on doors. Worth the money, FLIR is a known quality brand. Nice case so it’s compact and not too heavy to keep on your phone. Perfect for a DIY user.

Helped me identify insulated areas in my home so I could fix them. Works well, easy to use.

Amazingly useful product. The range of this specific model is quite far. 50 feet at least. I have used it for identifying beehives behind walls and under floors. The detector is sensitive enough for this. The different color palates are extremely useful.
