Natural Chemistry Pool Perfect + Phosfree, 2-Liter (1-Pack)

I've been a pool owner for 15 years and this product has been a game changer! For years I fought yellow and black algae infestations spending 100's of dollars for pool shock and algaecide treatments as they occurred from time to time even though I maintained the pH and chlorine levels religiously. The black algae is the most insidious as many may already know especially for an in-ground plastered pool. Once it permeates the plaster (especially older plaster that has become somewhat porous) there is little hope of removing it completely even with constant scrubbing and treatments. The jet black stains remained no matter what I did. I discovered the best answer by visiting dozens of pool blogs on the internet. The answer was in the phosphate levels. Recommended levels vary but most pool store tests advise 0 to 300 ppm. Algae of all sorts thrive on phosphates (it's like fertilizer to them) and the hidden truth is you want zero (0!) phosphates period! Of course algaecide and shock treatment manufacturers don't want you to know this therefor the 300ppm recommended upper limit. That's way too high. Last year I purchased a bottle of Natural Chemistry Phos Free for the initial treatment to eliminate phosphates and a bottle of Pool Perfect + Phos Free for weekly maintenance and have continued the weekly maintenance since. The results have been amazing! Algae infestations have been eliminated (knock on wood!). Even the permanent black algae stains have faded until they are almost imperceptible with no additional scrubbing required. It took a couple of months for them to fade so don't expect overnight results, be patient, it works! I highly recommend these two products.

I have 2 skimmers, so I put 1 cap per skimmer every week and my pool stays crystal clear. Of course I still shock it once a week and keep a chlorinator full with tablets.

Seems to be keeping phosphates in control in my pool. They are a big issue here in central Florida that can be a problem for water clarity. Pool service puts it in weekly.

Use it once a week. Keeps the pool well balanced. I use a lot less chemicals now.

I usually purchase this product at my local pool supply store. HOWEVER, making this purchase saved me about 1/3 off the price of what I usually pay. Good bargain for a product I normally use.

I have had several pools, and yellow and green algae is ALWAYS a problem, but not with this product! I check the pool once a month, dump the baskets, add 2 3" chlorine tabs in each basket and add 2 1/2 caps full of this product to the basket closest to the pump. NO MORE ALGAE!!!!!! This last winter I sometimes went a month without adding chlorine or POOL PERFECT...., and still no ALGAE! As I said when I started this review, this stuff works!!!!!!!!!! FYI: I live in Dallas,Texas, where we do not winterize our pools - they run year round.

I've been using this product for 10? years and have NEVER had an algae bloom since I started using it. Next to water, this is the most important thing I put in my pool, I also use it in my hot tub. Great product!

We received a product that was not the one in the picture. Very deceiving.I was able to return it. I contacted the manufacturer and the product in the picture is different than the one I received.I would have re-ordered but I no idea how to make sure I receive the correct product.
