Serta Ergonomic Executive Office Chair, Padded Arms Mesh Back Leather Chair

The parts and directions are great, and well labeled but the holds don’t all line up properly, so it takes some muscle to force things where they need to go. I’d suggest having a second set of hands. The little plugs suck just fyi, you have to jam them in which scratches the silver finish. It’s a super comfy chair though.

I have been buying, putting together, and sending to goodwill or giving to friends chair after chair for the last 2 years. I feel like goldie locks. I work from home and game, I need a chair that can be used for more than an hour, so really comfy seat, good back support, arms. I didn't want to spend a fortune, but I now know you get what you pay for so "fortune" is relative. I wanted it to look nice, but I now know that trying to be stylish is a waste of money for my needs. I am average height, 5'4". Wheels on chairs that said they were for average people added 3" most of the time. This one is PERFECT. Wheels on and I can sit and my feet are flat on the floor. So, getting rid of food rests and other things that were awkward under the desk trying to help. It's comfortable. I will say, I just got it, so I may have to revisit this review and followup. It was super easy to put together. And based on all of my previous chair purchases in the last year, I am overly qualified to say that the quality of this chair for the money is VALUE. Maybe the $400-1000 chairs would be more comfortable, but I just can't wrap my brain around that price. Army rests are a little low. Wish they were higher or adjustable, but I can live with it.

Pros: - Easy to assemble if you read the instructions provided - comfy for a 270lbs person - don’t have to squeeze into seat - nice padding Cons: - minor damage to base and cushions. As the damage is either at floor level or hidden by bolts once the chair is assembled not to big of a deal. - plastic base greater risk in it splitting over time. I’ll update in a year or so with how it holds up. Week later: Now that I have had some time to sit in it.... the only con so far is that the wheels are sticky sometimes. They don’t really like to roll around. Other than that still super comfy. 4/5 stars still 6 month update: holding up well. Still very comfy, but the wheels are a pain in the ass. You literally can roll anywhere, it defeats the purpose of having a rolling chair on hardwood for me... updated to 3/5 stars.

This chair is exactly what I hoped it would be. Assembly wasn't difficult at all, I did it by myself in about 30 minutes. I've had it for several months now, and I've noticed no signs of damage or deterioration with consistent and rough usage. The cushion isn't exceptionally thick, but it's not meant to be. The chair breathes well, which is extremely important to me, as I get warm very quickly. I have no substantial complaints, this chair is exactly what I expected it to be. It's not claiming to have any more customizable options like adjustable chair angle or adjustable back angle. I absolutely love the look, it looks just like it does in the pictures, if not better. If I could get the look with a more complex set of adjustment options, I'd be an even happier customer. But in the meantime, it's solid.

Chair is okay. I've put together many chairs, however after completing this chair it tilted to the right. There is not much tweaking you can do to adjust it, so I just have to live with it. Fairly comfortable. The plastic covers for the screw holes occasionally pop out even in the right places. Each plastic head is different to match the design of the arms however a few of them don't fit well. Additionally the black plastic side panels have popped out of place and don't look like it can be put back in place. Update 1/10/18. This is the worst office chair I have ever purchased. A screw holding the back rest and arm rest broke in half. The screw is now lodged in the back and I'm unable to extract it. I'm a 175lbs so its not a weight issue. The tilt handle is also defective. It pops out 3x a day causing me to brace myself. I called the manufacture and received a replacement part, but despite 3 strong individuals we were not able to remove the broken part from the post. I had to jerry rig the handle so it no longer self releases. It addition several plastic pieces above the wheels broke off. Overall I am dissatisfied and will never buy their products again.

The chair itself is quite comfortable. It remains to be seen how long the cushions stay firm. The customer support is poor. There is a very noticeable painting or molding/casting error on the right arm rest. I reached out to the customer support via Amazon app and was sent to Serta. After a few days they responded but I got no help there. They said they are not the manufacturer, and gave me the contact info for the manufacturer. I reached out to the manufacturer and never heard back from them (over two weeks now). All I asked was if they (both Serta and the manufacturer) can send a replacement armrest and new plastic caps to cover the screws. The manufacturers website looks suspicious, like it’s in the middle of being developed. They haven’t even replaced the boiler plate template text from the website template they are using. Plus, this model chair isn’t listed in their website. If Serta is not the manufacturer and won’t support customer issues on the products with their name on it, what’s the point in buying a Serta? I feel like I paid just premium for the brand name. Save your money and get a less expensive alternative.

Comfy office chair. Easy to put together. The plastic pieces that cover up bolt holes are not the best.

Una excelente silla, compare decenas de modelos diferentes (literal) y escogí esta, no tenia pensado gastar tanto, pero al pensar que paso casi 8 horas diarias trabajando en ella durante 5 días a la semana creo que vale la pena gastar un poco más para estar cómodo y cuidar tu espalda. Me llego en solo 3 días desde que la pedí, y la arme en menos de 20min. Una de las mejores compras que haya hecho.

I just finished putting it together so I can't really speak of its longevity but I am really loving this chair. It is really comfortable and looks amazing. The chair feels very high quality. I shopped around a lot and tried many chairs. After feeling unfulfilled with the options in my local stores I took a chance buying this one from Amazon. I don't think any of the other chairs I tried in store were as nice as this one and it is less expensive. I am extremely happy with the purchase. Five stars.

Fácil de armar, y muy cómodo, la verdad por el precio pensé que no iba a ser de muy buena calidad pero supero mis expectativas, en definitiva muy recomendado

So far I like it a lot. Very stylish and comfortable. It's a little warm so if you are sitting for long periods expect to get warm. Not unbearable just worth noting as my last chair was a mesh back and it was great for longer stints of work. Overall a great quality managers/executive chair or for a boardroom.

Same model at Staples was $258 Got this one on sale for $138 Very satisfied. Only issue is the hard plastics on top of each leg. Uncomfortable when resting feet on legs. Overall nice quality chair. Assembly was straight forward with precise clear English instruction.
