Types of Saffron In Iran, saffron produced in many ways is divided into several forms. One of the oldest terms used in this field is (red part and white or yellow part of saffron), which is also called saffron in Persian and is known abroad as Bunch or Red & White saffron. In fact, the red part in this type of saffron should be between 75-70% and the root or cornea is about 25-30%. This kind of saffron is called *pushal saffron*. The newer names of saffron were sorgol Saffron, which was produced from the *saffron Bunch(Dasteh saffron)*, in that it separated the yellow parts with scissors and then separated using static electricity, and obtained cleaner and completely red, which in English It’s called *All-Red saffron*, and it’s similar to a saffron called Coupé. Health Benefits of Saffron Saffron has been used for thousands of years by some of the oldest cultures in the world to treat a range of ailments. Here's what you get:
I had a recipe that called for 1 tsp. of saffron. Turns out, I could have used the saffron strands, but since I ordered the powdered version I could half the recipe. All 3 of these little containers equals to about 3/4 of a teaspoon. I've never used this spice before, had an odd taste...more for color I guess.

Excellent quality! Great aroma
As soon as I opened the shipping package I could smell the zaferon that shows it was such high grade quality zaferon! I love the packaging because it is devided in small three small amounts, I gave one container as a gift to my brother and It keeps it fresh for longer because you only open what you need to use immediately, and keeps the rest fresh for later! Loved the flavor in my food! I add this to pretty much every dish I make! It reduces the stress when I make a drink with it! After a long day at work! And the color was amazing!Product was delivered in three days!
