XFinity Comcast XR15 Voice Control Remote for X1 Xi6 Xi5 XG2 (Backlight)

Perfect replacement for my Xfinity Flex box remote. One button disintegrated on the original remote. The set-up instructions were precise and worked perfectly.

This was a replacement as remote was eaten by puppy. It is the as our previous remote. Easy to use, works well. No problems setting it up.

XFINITY offers a replacement at no cost however what do you do when their remote just won't work. If you have these on hand, no driving involved or waiting for the store to open. Within minutes your back to watching your show and you can always go to XFINITY later.

No problems at all with this. 100% OEM, genuine, latest updated version, worked immediately. You can either buy this here, or spend time/annoyance going to the Xfinity store -- where after waiting an eternity they either will or will not give you a free replacement. If you have the spare cash, buying this here is certainly the most convenient alternative.

I live in Las Vegas were their cable services is a company called Cox. Cox is just another sister company of Xfinity, Spectrum, Warner cable, etc. My cable remote was broken and I needed a replacement ASAP. I had to travel to get a replacement which is limited for me. So I got on my Amazon and saw this. I didn't think it would have worked since it was Xfinity and not Cox but babe....IT DID AND ITS PERFECT! Once you set it to your TV (I have a Spectre 40 inch Only) and boom you are in there. I'm a happy camper and the price is great and remote is mine not the cable companies. P.S. I did keep the other remote until I move or decide to send it back. They want their product even if it's damage or not functioning or you will have to pay like 300 dollars! Trust me, I know! Once again get it if you need a cable remote.

Using it for a X1 xfinity box. Original remote got lost during move, lol. Anyway, paired right up without any settings needed. One thing that is not so good is that it came scratched. The from has some scratches on the corner. My guess is that those remotes are the ones that fail the quality test. The remote looks and feels otherwise brand new. Came with batteries in a plastic bag. One reviewer mentioned that voice wouldn’t work. Mine ask me if I want to set up voice control. I didn’t do it because I do t use the voice function but see no reason why it shouldn’t work. The item is just too cheap to complain about the scratches or even to send it back. So I didn’t even contact the seller. Good working remote for a good price. Should the remote fail me I will update the review. As long as it is up, it didn’t fail.

Replaced my broken remote with this and it works perfect and was easy to connect with the instructions provided. I’m very pleased with this product.

I tried to get a replacement from Comcast. It was a nightmare. Kept me on the phone more then 30 minutes trying to upsell me on more services and then when I refused tried to get me to approval dropping all services and going with their "new" plan which includes a modem I don't need or want. So I just bought this one! Problem solved!
