HD 1080P 5 inch Wireless Backup Camera for Truck: Clear Day & Night Vision

Product arrived over night and is of high quality. I installed the backup camera yesterday and tested it in the vehicle. It connected quickly and has a great picture. I am very pleased with the purchase.

This is a very good camera for the price. It was very easy to install on my Ford truck. The picture is big and clear. Makes backing into garage a snap. I did contact support. Sent a note at night and got a reply next day. Might get a front camera. The screen will support multiple cameras.

Item works decent. The cord is not long enough for a suv of any size. There is some lag using the bluetooth not wired camera. Is decently bright enough and has contrast and brightness adjustment. It paired right up by itself. The resolution is not as good as pictures show. Id imagine those are using wired cameras but still dont believe resolution is that good with a wired camera. I didnt know the camera is adjustable up and down but glad it was as i had to adjust to be able to see hitch ball. It was surprisingly wide angle. Better than I thought it would be. It is windshield mount only. Doesnt come with anything to mount to dash

I really went back and forth on which backup camera to buy for my 2004 Jeep Wrangler TJ. I am very happy with my choice after over a month of using it. I was skeptical of wireless, but it went with it because it was easier to install. The monitor us mounted to my windshield with the suction cup, the wire is shoved into a dashboard crevice and plugs into 12v outlet. The camera is mounted to my rear wheel with zip ties, which is not exactly professional, but since Jeep license plates aren't centered, there aren't a lot of other options. I did look at some fancy (expensive) mounting brackets, but the zip ties are find for now. I drilled into the side of the brake light to run a wire to the reverse light wire. There are others to wire it, but again, this was easy and practical. There is a lag on the monitor due to it being wireless. It takes a beat to turn on, and the image is a second or so behind real-time, so you have to keep that in mind. I am very happy with this purchase, especially for the price.

I bought this backup camera for my older car that didn’t come with one, and I’m seriously impressed. The installation was easier than expected — the instructions were clear, and all the parts were included. It took me about an hour to get everything wired up, and it powered on without a hitch. The picture quality is surprisingly good, even at night. The wide-angle lens gives me a full view of what’s behind, and the built-in guidelines make parking a breeze. I feel much safer now when reversing, especially in tight spaces or crowded lots. The screen is bright and responsive, and there’s almost no lag between movement and what you see. For the price, this device has exceeded my expectations in both quality and performance. If you’re looking to upgrade your car with a reliable backup cam, this one’s a great choice.

"15 Mins Easy Installation" is a bad joke. Don't know yet if the product works, because the installation booklet is poorly written and confusing as are the videos produced by the company. Why a company would invest in producing a product but then not hire personnel to produce adequate installation instructions is baffling. I am having to make a research project of the various ways it might be installed at the camera end. Further, there is no practical guidance or hardware to facilitate antenna installation at the camera end.. Some of the included wiring must be modified to adapt it to particular installations. I would return it had I not taken installation on as a challenge. Don't know how the documentation on competing products is, but for this product, it is terrible.

The one I ordered was unreliable. To their credit, the manufacturer very quickly sent me a replacement, which works fairly well. It clearly is an updated model, as it is physically different. Among other things, the camera antenna can now be mounted further from the camera, improving the chance the signal will make it to the monitor. I strongly recommend trying to get the updated version. I have the camera mounted on the back of a small trailer, about 8 meters from the monitor on the dashboard. There is one metal panel on the front of the trailer between the camera antenna and the monitor, but the rest of the trailer is fiberglass. The image occasionally freezes briefly when driving, but that isn't a big problem. Latency seems to be about half a second. There was a "Lost Link" warning a few times when driving through towns, but that may have been due to interference. The image is fairly bright, so it can be seen with sunglasses on. However, the field of view is so wide that, when driving on the highway, the image of cars behind is so small you can't see them until they are just a few meters away. While the wide field is fine for backing up and parking, it's neither necessary nor useful when driving. I would have much preferred the option of a camera lens with a smaller field of view, perhaps 90 degrees. However, the resolution of the camera may be good enough that a digital zoom would work. Perhaps the manufacturer will include this in a future software update.

Excellent product it’s simple to install and works perfectly.

The package arrived sooner than expected. The product manual stated by purchasing this Rear View Camera System I was eligible for one of four accessories at no charge. I choose the RV Rear Camera. LeeKooLuu Customer Service acknowledged my request for the RV camera promptly and it arrived in a timely manner. Pairing the RV camera to the monitor as Camera # 2 was simple. I left the camera that came with the original package as Camera #1. I mounted the RV camera on the back of my truck camper above the door and below the clearance lights. I wired the camera to the clearance light power source so it comes on when the lights are on and sealed the hole. So far so good. It works great. The image on the monitor is super clear. Not only does it assist backing up but now I have a bird’s eye view of whatever I am trailering. I will mount the original camera to the license plate as intended and wire it to the backup lights for use when the camper is not on the truck. I highly recommend LeeKooLuu. My only criticism is the product manual could be better written but once you get into the menu on the monitor it is intuitive so no big deal and the parking line's width could be adjustable so they are narrower but once again no big deal.

Recently I purchased and installed a LeeKooLuu Wireless Backup Camera 5 Inch Rear View Monitor Kit HD 1080p Bluetooth Reverse Camera for my BMW sedan. The power supply for the camera was taken from the back-up light while the monitor was powered by the 12V cigarette lighter. Installation was simple and straightforward. On startup, there was no signal received by the monitor due to the strong radio interference emitted by the engine. After consulting the product installation instructions, I purchased the 12V DC Power Adapter Filter Rectifier for Germany car series through Amazon. I added this rectifier between the power supply from the back-up light and the input connection of the camera. I successfully obtained the rear image on the monitor when I shifted to the reversing gear. The image on the monitor was clear and sharp. This product was a very nice product with a reasonable price which I highly recommended.

It was easy to install and looks great in the vehicle. Haven’t used it yet but the picture is clear and very easy to see!! I think this will be a great addition to our vehicle

I received the backup camera quickly and it was packaged well. The main unit was in a protective bag and foam insert. It comes with everything you need for installation as pictured. I love the fact that you can either hard wire it or use the included cigar lighter. You can also add an additional camera, which I will be doing in the near future. I haven't installed it yet, but I did connect it to a power supply to ensure everything works. I am very happy with the picture quality and brightness. In low light conditions, the cameras led lights come on automatically to provide a better picture! I also love that the controls are in the front of the monitor instead of the back, as was with other units. This is my second unit from this vendor, so I expect it to perform as well as the first system I purchased. It comes with a 2 year warranty and the vendor is quick to respond to inquiries. I may update this review once I install the system, since I will be using it for my camper.
