Dick and Jane 4 book boxed set (Learn to read with Dick and Jane)

This grandma learned to read with the Dick and Jane series. The books my school was using were written in the '20's with pictures that reflected the time. Really I am not the old, but these books were written so that a child from anytime would understand the fun of being a child and learn to read. Got them from one granddaughter and taught her to read at 4 years old. When my grandson came along I wanted him to have these books too so that he could read and enjoy it.

My struggling readers choose these everyday during free reading time.

Love these so much at age of fifty eight woman I saw these and when I heard my first great nephew Matthew was born who’s parents are both avid readers, to point the own no television. They generation is/was not familiar with these old primers, but I remember them all fondly and remember love reading. I look forward to my visit north and getting to rereading one if these to my 21 month old who likes them so they say. Granted it’s four books out of ten I’ve sent so little man over those months I will have lots of choices to read to hm my first night time visit.
