I bought this for camping, but have been using it at home with 5 gallon water bottles. The water is very hard where I live and I was using a 1 gallon filtering water pitcher. I drink as much water as possible daily and had to refill the pitcher at least twice a day. The replacement filters are costly and I was always forgetting when I needed to replace them. I also had to drive 20 miles each way to purchase replacement filters. The pitcher was heavy and since I drink so much water I was lifting it to pour the water out and to refill it constantly. It also took up a lot of space in my refrigerator. It was easy to charge and would empty several bottles before needing to be recharged. No batteries needed, recharges using USB so can be recharged in your vehicle if necessary while camping. I bought a 5 gallon water jug from my local grocery to try the pump. After the initial cost of buying the bottle the cost to refill it at my local grocery store is less than $3.00. Much cheaper than buying bottle water and no plastic waste. I only have to lift the jugs twice, once to get them in my car and again to get them into the house. The pump dispenses water quickly and is easy to use when filling everything from my water bottles, coffee pot and pets water dishes. Much cheaper than a water dispenser and I don't have to lift the bottle above waist high and turn it upside down like I would with a dispenser. I can leave the bottle on a small stool or even the floor. The pump gets all the water out of the bottles. I was so happy with this pump I purchased a second one and am looking forward to using them while camping next summer. Highly recommend.

We have been using this product on our 5 gallon bottles for a few years. It works great. We charge it before heading out on our RV trips. It doesn't fit tightly on the bottle, it just sits on top. This design works fine for the needs. We have to take it off and put a cap on the bottle of water when traveling, otherwise the pump will fall off the top of the bottle when traveling down the road because it doesn't fasten onto the bottle. I like the long battery life. We charged and recharged it for about 8 years before needing a new one because it stopped charging. It is a bit noisy but we don't mind. I don't use it in the middle of the night when people are sleeping - it would wake them. This would be a great installation for a Van Build as a kitchen sink pump. I would suggest making a fitting in your countertop using a PVC pipe that is the same diameter as the pump, for a firm connection. Still making the pump removable though, for charging. I like using this better than the hand pumps, or turning the bottle upside down on a dispenser bowl. This is the easiest machine we have found for water dispensing in our RV while moving around daily. Very portable. Great water flow. Fills up water bottles fast. Would not fill up a gallon very fast as this dispenses like a refrigerator amount. It was easy to clean, we just didn't get it dirty. We were very careful.

It works well for what I need and has lasted me a full year so far. In my experience, it’s easy to keep clean, which is always a plus. It is a bit noisy, but I don’t mind since I use it during the day and simply fill a pitcher to keep in the fridge for nighttime use. I did take off one star because I wish it attached more securely. It just sits on top without any real seal or locking mechanism. It’s nothing major, just a little unusual. The charging process is also slightly unclear—I’m never completely sure when it’s fully charged. Overall, it’s a great option for anyone who wants to fill a glass without tipping a heavy jug, or for those with limited space who can’t accommodate a larger, more elaborate dispenser.
