Awesome bike!!
I have mostly ridden dirt bikes. I haven’t ridden a bicycle since probably high school. My husband has injured his back (compression fractures) so we’re getting away from the dirt bikes, but still want to enjoy the outdoors and riding. So he decided to take up bicycle riding and is training for a marathon type event. I figure I could just ride with him but since it’s been so long I don’t know if I’ll be able to keep up with him or ride the distance (sorry this is so long winded). So this bike was the perfect answer. We went to bike shops and looked at e-bikes and they all started at $2K. I don’t really want to spend that much so this bike was more economical. Once we got it put together, I really don’t understand why the other bikes are so expensive. This bike is well built and feels solid. It took just over an hour to put together and the instructions were easy (and a little comical) to understand. They are obviously translated poorly, but there are also plenty of photos to help you understand. It was easy and they give you quality tools to put it together. We charged the battery for maybe an hour and the light turned green. I rode it today and was very pleased. I was in the 7th gear so it took a bit to go, but once I started to pedal, the assist kicked in and felt like someone was giving me a push. It was amazing! I only got up to assist #2 because I was on dirt and didn’t want to go too fast, but I can tell this bike will haul butt. I geared down to 6th gear and it was perfect. Super fun and I know if I get too worn out chasing my husband it will be okay because the bike can do the work for me. At the same time, I will be able to build my endurance and strength. The lights are bright and the horn is incredibly loud. The brakes work great. The front forks work great but I didn’t really notice any shock absorbing in the seat. I rode over a washboarded dirt road and felt like my brain was getting rattled, but the bike really isn’t made for that. I know it will do great on the pavement. I am 5’ 2” and I can touch barely on my toes. I ordered a different seat post that will give me the couple of inches I need to feel secure. 40.3mm diameter in case you need to do the same.As far as shipping, I couldn’t find any info on what size the box was to know what vehicle to pick it up in. You have to sign for the package so I had it delivered to a pick up location. So if you’re in that same boat, the dimensions of the box are 9” X 27.5” X 52”. The tires are 26” X 1.95” and inflate up to 40psi. Overall I’m very happy with the purchase and feel like I saved about $1200 for an equal quality e-bike.

GREAT EBIKE--EVEN BETTER VALUE
I purchased the EK7 upgrade that includes the larger battery and color screen. Assembly was pretty easy. I love that includes all the tools you need and the instruction manual is very good. This bike is a great value because it has many features that a lot of more expensive bikes don't have. It includes both an headlight and a taillight, and a nice screen to monitor your miles, speed, and battery life. The seat is very comfortable and has a built in shock absorber. The front forks also have shocks. I had some minor issues with some damage to the bike during shipping. The customer service was 5-star. They responded quickly and got me what I needed to get the bike completed. I haven't ridden it enough or on hilly terrain to comment on the battery life, but it's definitely powerful. I started out in PAS 3, on flat surface and had to reduce it to PAS 1 (3 was way too fast). I am impressed with the quality of the bike build. It rivals bikes that cost up $1000 more. I would definitely recommend this to others. I added a phone holder and mirror.

Great bike but only 1 issue
The bike is great! Good range, comfortable to ride (after I put on a Blue Wind seat). The shocks on ithe front and seat really smooth out the ride.I do 28 mph on level ground on PAS 5. I’ve gone about 16 miles on the full electric setting and still have about 1/4 of the battery charge left.I purchased the blue bike and it’s a real head turner. I love the color! It handles quite well and functions perfectly. The LED indicator of speed and other functions of the bike is bright and easy to read. Overall, the bike is very well-made.It’s easy to assemble and instructions were clear. I learned that you shouldn’t charge the battery immediately after riding- seems to be related to potential explosion from a hot battery.I did have an issue with the battery detaching from the top of the frame while riding. Not enough that it flopped off but it did have a 1/4” gap at the top of the battery and frame. I wrapped an elastic Velcro strap around the top of the battery to hold it in place.I contacted the seller and they quickly responded by sending me the piece that fits on the top of the battery that receives the latch on the frame. I had conveyed that it appeared to be a latch problem, not a battery problem as I had ordered a second battery from them (okay - I have range anxiety) and both wouldn’t stay in place. The batteries still don’t attach correctly to the bike frame. I have received multiple emails and phone calls from the company in an attempt to help me correct the problem. The last was a video showing snapping off apart inside the battery to make it fit better. Although I really appreciate the amazing follow up. I am hesitant about messing with the battery.I’m just going to stick with my Velcro strap fix. The only other option I have is to disassemble the bike and ship it back to the seller. Not happening!

Good quality and value. Excellent customer service.
The product arrived well packaged and within the time frame described at the time of purchase. I was an avid cyclist for may years in my past. As age has progressed, an ebike allows me to ride further and longer and still be active and get exercise. I feel like these ebikes represent a lot of value for the price. Unpacking and assembly takes some time but the instructions are fairly well written and assembly is not difficult. The was some very minor (cosmetic) shipping damage to the head stem on both bikes and when I sent photos to the seller they communicated clearly and in a timely manner to get replacement parts sent to me. The controls are very intuitive and work very well. They allow for a great deal of flexibility in terms of the amount of pedal assist you can choose. Overall I am very pleased with the quality and value of the Cybervelo ebikes. Would definitely recommend for anyone shopping for an ebike that represents a good value in today's marketplace.
