Big Jar of Delicious Vegan, Organic, Properly Made Protein Powder
Organic Vegan Protein Powder by BlueBonnet Nutrition 2.08 Pounds, Plant Based Protein, Zero Sugar, 8g Prebiotic Fiber, USDA Organic, Non-GMO, Kosher, Gluten-Free, Soy-Free, Chocolate Flavor Properly Made? Yes. Always make sure that a Vegan Protein Powder has some sort of Whole Grain (like Brown Rice) AND some sort of Legume (like Peas). I was told LONG ago, that beans and brown rice make the perfect (complete) protein. And it’s true. This kind of protein powder digests FAR easier than those with only Pea Protein (or something similar) and it builds muscle better and faster, because it digests easier and goes to the muscles better. 19 Servings? When I have Protein Powder, I usually have ½ to ¾ of a scoop. So a jar of protein powder usually lasts me over a month. The Quality This is not only Organic. It’s Kosher, Non- GMO, made in a cGMP facility, by a company with a very good website. Mixing It I always put protein powder in Almond Milk or Oat Milk, and it does NOT require a blender, but it DOES require a shaker cup. I use the Magic Bullet jars with lids until they run out and then the little plastic jars that a certain brand of ice cream comes in. And then I put them in the dishwasher. The Sweeteners A little bit of organic Stevia tastes OK and is not bad for you. Monk Fruit is apparently very healthy, and you get a lot of sweetness out of very little Monk Fruit. Since some Protein Powders have Artificial Sweeteners worse than actual sugar, this Protein Powder is far safer than those.

Tasty Healthy Organic Protein Powder
The product boosts about all of it's admirable Attributes: formulated with 24 g of plant protein, 8 g fiber and 0 g sugar, delivering a balance of essential amino acids to support optimal muscle growth and recovery as well as certified organic by the Texas Department of Agriculture. The product boosts about all of it's organic Ingredients: organic pea protein, organic gum acacia, organic brown rice protein, organic alkalized cocoa powder, organic natural flavor, organic guar gum, organic monk fruit extract, salt, organic rebaudioside A (stevia extract), organic sunflower lecithin. It takes 2 scoops to 8 fl oz - personally used Almond Milk and a blender. It mixed instantly with no issues. For all the health benefits - the flavor and texture were good. It's a lighter chocolate flavor and knowing it is sweetened with Monk Fruit and Stevia is a real positive. The scoop is enclosed - which is nice too. Definitely a good product to be able to mix with other healthy ingredients to increase protein intake. So many protein powders claim to be organic and healthy and at a closer look - there's more. Bluebonnet seems to be the real "healthy" protein powder.

Lead content?
Don't like the taste. Was anticipating something that tasted more like chocolate, And, I wanted more information about the amount of lead. The manufacturer did not respond to my question about the amount of lead.

One of the best protein powders I have used
I’ve tried a lot of plant-based protein powders, and this one is easily one of my favorites. The chocolate flavor is rich and smooth, without that gritty or overly sweet aftertaste that some vegan proteins have. It blends really well in both almond milk and smoothies—no clumps! What really sets it apart for me is the clean ingredient list—USDA Organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, soy-free, vegan, AND zero sugar. That’s a hard combo to find, especially in a product that actually tastes good. Plus, the 8g of prebiotic fiber is a great bonus—it keeps me full longer and helps with digestion. I mostly use it post-workout or as a quick breakfast, and it gives me a solid 24g of protein per serving without any weird artificial ingredients or stomach upset. Also love that it’s kosher and comes in sustainable packaging. If you’re looking for a high-quality, plant-based protein that checks all the health boxes and tastes great, this is 100% worth trying. It's a little bit pricier than your usual protein powder but it's definitely worth it. Will definitely be reordering!

Blends easily but not with great texture
I really like protein powders that blend easily, without the need for blenders or other equipment. I had high hopes for BlueBonnet's protein powder, since it claimed to be easy-to-mix. The powder did mix easily with water, there were no clumps or leftover residue, the texture of the protein shake was a little off. It was slightly gritty and chalky. It wasn't enough to make the drink completely off-putting, but it was enough to make it a little less appetizing. By itself, the texture probably wouldn't have bothered me all that much. However, the taste was also not top notch either. The powder tasted too much like monk fruit, which took away some of the enjoyment of its otherwise rich, chocolate flavor. I don't mind things tasting a little like monk fruit or stevia, but in this case it was too much for my taste buds. When looking at the nutrition of the protein powder, it did have some saving graces. It had a decent amount of fiber, protein, and iron. It was a little higher in sodium, but it wasn't out of the normal range for flavored protein powders. I also loved how it was vegan and sugar free. If you prefer organic ingredients, it has that going for it too. While this was not my favorite protein powder, if its ingredients and nutrition label stand out for you it might be worth a try. It wasn't too bad as far as protein powders go, most are not perfect, but let's say this one still has some room for improvement.

Naturally sweetened with monk fruit, and has a good chocolate flavor
This plant protein powder by BlueBonnet Nutrition was a 'let's try this again' product for me. My husband is the protein powder 'person' in our family as he works out daily and had used protein powders for the past 15 years. We only chose sugar free choices and typically are whey based. We've tried a plant based in the past and it was... not good (being polite). I saw this listing and decided to give it another go with this brand. MUCH better! I like that it's organic and plant based and sweetened with monk fruit and stevia extract. He likes that it has the protein he wants and the chocolate flavor he prefers. It's a win/win product and the price point of under 40 dollars is on target with most of the sugar free protein powders we use.

Overpriced and sweet like a chocolate Hawaiian punch juice
I love that this is vegan of course, but that's pretty basic, like just the minimum. It's not like the whole brand is vegan. The company clearly just wants to reach more customers to make more money. As a long time vegan and as someone who frequently gets unflavored vegan protein powders to mix and create delicious drinks and dishes, this is not only ridiculously and unnecessarily overpriced (remember, plant proteins are far easier to produce with far fewer resources than animal derived ones), it also tastes awful. It has no sugar, but it's sickeningly sweet to me. I don't want to completely write it off because maybe if you are a big junk food and sweet drink person, you'll like it. I'm not the type of person that typically drinks pop/soda or juice. It might be good to make brownies with or something, but drinking it straight is not for me.

Easy way to add essential protein into your diet
BlueBonnet Nutrition Organic Plant Protein Powder, 24g Plant Based Protein, Zero Sugar, 8g Prebiotic Fiber, USDA Organic, Non-GMO, Kosher, Gluten-Free, Soy-Free, Vegan, Chocolate Flavor, 19 Servings - PROS -This BLUEBONNET plant protein is a simple, healthy, and convenient way to add more protein into your diet (essential for weight loss). I aim for 100grams of protein or more every day so this is an easy way to hit that important goal. I mix protein powder into Greek yogurt and this mixed fine. I very much appreciate that this powder is ‘free of milk’ as I am lactose sensitive. CONS - It appears that 2 scoops equals one serving, or 24 grams of protein. I would prefer the scooper be the size so that one scoop equals one serving. This is a high calorie (165 calories) protein powder, though the canister does state this fact. Lastly, the canister states it is ‘free to milk’ but not free of dairy. OVERALL - This is a great plant-based way to add essential protein into your diet but could use a more fitting-sized scooper. Thank you for reading my review!
