Q: These started flickering after about 1 year; in use maybe 5 minutes per day. Can I get a replacement?

You need to ask the manufacturer about replacements. However, I know from my own experience that LED's need air circulation and when I put them in places that worked fine for incandescent blubs the LED's don't last near as long as advertised.

Q: I installed all 3 bulbs but they are blinking in and out, is there a reason for this?

These bulbs may not work if you've got them controller by a dimmer. I not, they may be defective.

Q: Are these bulbs suitable for crafting, or machine sewing?

The Ascher E12 LED 60 watt clear daylight white bulbs provide plenty of light for my purpose. They were installed in an pendant ceiling light fixture with 4-bulbs. There is no globe or cover over the bulbs. Recommend
