I’ve been eyeing up an ice bath for a while and this one has been a great addition to my recovery routine. I used to take cold showers, but since moving house, my new shower just doesn’t get cold enough to be effective. This ice bath solves that problem. It arrived in a handy carry case and was really easy to set up and fill. The first dip definitely felt cold, but I’m still working on how to get the water colder consistently, particularly during the colder weather. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase, but a few design tweaks could make it even better, e.g. improved thermal covering without having to buy separate wrap. Great customer service, when I had an issue, this was resolved immediately. Highly recommend!

Met my expectations!?!?! ABSOLUTELY!! I have been pondering for 2 years on whether I should buy this As I am a cold water fan and finally took the plunge so to speak this week. Quick delivery, well packaged and super easy/quick to assemble. The inflated rim I a finding hard to keep inflated but think that is a user error and not design. Very thick sides and well constructed. Have only had for 24hrs and sold 2 more to friends! I should be on commission! It was wonderful to wake up to first thing this morning. Only criticism is in that in the current heatwave it does not hold the cold that well even with the insulated cover but to be fair how often do we have 34degrees in the UK? I look forward to use all year round. Have called my pod “Dippy”!

Worked great for a season and was very impressed. Easy to put together and the perfect size. After about a year of use it did start leaking around the emptying valve. A good price, but only lasted 1 year.

I spent a while looking for the right one, I believe I've found it. Impressed with the product from the moment I seen the branded packaging box, then to find a reusable branded bag to house The Cold Pod when it's not in use. Instructions where informative and simple to understand. The Cold Pod was set up and ready to be rinsed out within minutes. I've been using it daily for a week now, and really feeling some benefits of it. I tried it first thing in the morning, well that's one way to wake yourself up. I've tried it in the afternoon during breaks from work, feels awesome to get away from the screen for 10 minutes and relax in The Cold Pod. I tend to suffer from bad headaches when working of brain testing work things and popping out for a dip mid afternoon really seems to help relieve them. Then I've used it at night and had a couple of amazing cold water meditation sessions in it. I've never meditated outside, so this might be adding to the sensation, if you've not tried it yet, give it a go. So far the water has been in The Cold Pod for a week and I think its still ok to use, I'm guessing I'll get another week out of it then I'll drain, clean and fill it back up again. I've been using cooler ice blocks for mine, before I go out I throw 5 ice blocks in 10 minutes before and it really helps to cool the water. If you're in two minds of a company to use to purchase your ice bath from, I'd be happy to recommend The Cold Pod.

This product is well made with what feels like high quality materials. It looks a lot better than other cold tubs on the market and is a luxurious upgrade coming from a plastic tub. I wish I chose this straight away. The set up was really easy and only took a couple of minutes. There is also an easy to follow start up guide. I am about 5"10 and when sat fully onto the bottom I am covered up to my chin with plenty of room around me unlike other products where I have found I am cramped up by my legs while crouching down. there is padding on the bottom which was very comfortable to sit in as well as in inflatable neck rest around the top of the ring. The lid is easy to apply and secured on with a drawstring. The valve allows easy emptying of the cold tub with an attachable hose (just make sure you close it before filling the tub unlike me). Everything was packaged very professionally with everything I needed including a bag for easy storage. Very prompt delivery I could not recommend this product enough!

Having been a regular user of a ice bath whilst playing rugby I always fancied having my own but thought I’d lack the space to house it in my garden. So when I saw that this could be pretty much flat packed and stored away my decision was made! As soon as the box turned up I went to set it up straight away, barely 2 minutes later I was inflated and ready to fill up with water and ice. Brilliant features on this all round but the drainage lever is probably the best and the extender hose that easily attaches is quality the insulated cover is also brilliant and keeps the temp down between uses. First use went well apart from I put too much water in so caused a bit of overflow, my fault thought I was perhaps a little skinnier than I actually am. I have been using regularly after the gym and golf and I find I’m recovering so much better with little to no aches and pains. I had a holiday booked in Scotland where lots of long walks were planned so I decided to pack it up and take it along for the ride! Used every day once it was set up and even convinced my wife to get in and she loved it as well! Super portable and would 100000000% recommend!

Seen this product on Amazon, it was highlighted as Amazons Choice. I had looked at many others and this jumped out as the best about in a reasonable price bracket. It is easy to assemble and very spacious. The big problem I have with it, is the water just climbs in temperate. Within 24 hours my water has gone from 14 degrees to nearly 20 degrees. So are you expected to add ice daily? I haven’t seen anyone in reviews mention specific temperatures just that they say it is cold. With one of the big selling points being it has 4 layers of protective material I was expecting the water to maintain a temperature a lot better. A great product but also very disappointing as the sole purpose is to keep water cold. Upon writing this review I have received a hand written letter and a couple of freebies which was a nice touch.

I looked all over for something to start cold water therapy and opted for this. After trying it out a few times I was left disappointed as for me (6’2) I couldn’t dunk my head under and for the price it didn’t seem like it would last a long time. I didn’t need the pump as the ring blows up very easily. The lid wasn’t the best and during a night when it rained I came to find the lid had submerged due to the collection of water on the top. Obviously the weather ain’t helped keep this pod cold enough and using ice helps. I used empty ice cream tubs to freeze large blocks of ice. The water was around 15/16 which to me wasn’t cold enough? Looking at getting a whisky barrel in place now but due to the size and weight I think that may not be suitable either…. I was contacted by the cold pod company (Robyn) and asked about my experience with the original cold pod and was informed they had just released a BIGGER version of the cold pod! This was sent to me the following day!!! First impressions it looks the same just seems little wider. Was up and ready to fill in minutes and looked bigger but not any taller in size. Once filled and I got in I could move my legs around and rest my back against it. Lot more room to move without feeling constricted unlike the previous model. After use I put the lid on and noticed a mesh like hole in the lid which wasn’t present in the original lid. This is a better design and the original lid used to dip into the water when it rained as the water just sat on top of the lid. This lid now allows the rain to drain into the pod without letting in any dirt/leaves! Much needed improvement and very impressed how a small change goes a long way. Really good bath, great quality and I can sit in it, I’m 185cm. Worth the money.

The tub arrived with no lid. There was no logo on the side and the inside colour was different to the image. I assembled it and it felt very flimsy, it didn’t resemble the picture at all, or a tub for that matter- it looked kind of like a deflated bouncing castle. I filled it with water to see if that added any rigidity or structure, and it did not. The tap at the bottom leaked. Honesty, this tub is worth about €20 at most. Don’t waste your money, get something else. A barrel maybe. A barrel would feel more luxurious . I’m returning the tub. P.S. seriously, the barrel wouldn’t need to be new or even clean to achieve a more luxurious feeling than this product.

Muy fácil de montar. Una vez llena no se mueve del sitio. Es más que recomendable poner la tapa para que el agua no se ensucie. El borde hinchable es cómodo. Fácil vaciado para poder limpiarla.

My sisters and I bought this ice bath as a birthday gift to my dad. He's been using it daily for the last 4-ish months and LOVES it. Whenever he has friends over, he proudly shows them his cold pod and has even taken cold plunges together with people (one person at a time obv). It was definitely worth the money- especially in the winter or in general if you live somewhere below freezing temperature (where you don't have to add ice to make it into an ice bath), the cold pod is so low maintenance to use because you just use something hard and heavy to crack the ice every time and it's kinda fun and part of the experience too.
