When I called the US based reps I was told that we were using it wrong. We have been juicing for 20 years and it is not complicated to assemble and use. They sent a replacement part and after the first use with new part, more plastic and evidence of damage. Santos refused to ship a replacement. A refund was issued. Any juicer with a $1600+ price tag should not have a plastic impeller supporting the centrifugal basket. We bought a Ceado ES500 instead.
