Failed after one month of use, I take care of the things I buy and very rarely does something like this happen to me but here we are.

**update 12/10/24**. The port isn't smooth to plug into and unplug from. It's a bit rough and after a few times using it, the port came loose. It is not flush with the case like other major brands. It now has a connection problem and my files might be gone because the poor workmanship. Once i can get my files off, I'm sending this hunk of junk back. The outer case seems durable...but that port makes the whole thing a pile of garbage. You really DO get what you pay for. ************************ I was a little apprehensive about buying this. I had never heard of the brand before but then I found an article that listed this brand as one of the top ones. Price was right so I bought it. Honestly, it has, thus far, exceeded my expectations. What impressed me first was the casing. This, by FAR, surpasses the other leading brands (WD, for example) for protection. It's very sturdy, IMO. I formatted it for my Mac and I was ready to go! I use it as a drag and drop for files I want easy access to and separate from the Time Machine backups, but I am going to purchase ANOTHER one to use with Time Machine as the one I have now is a WD and it's flimsy as hell. I've had this first one for 2 weeks and have had no issues yet!
