Caffeine Eye Cream with Peptides for Dark Circles, 1 oz

I am 33, had a baby right before I turned 31, prior to that I had cystic type acne all my life that I never grew out of, then got acne in places I never had it before when I was pregnant, and let's face it: growing a baby does stuff to your body, some stuff you never come back from, and I stayed pretty hormonally imbalanced for a long time. I'm very fair skinned, and every pimple (popped or unpopped) left a lasting pink scar on my face, requiring concealer months long after it's official departure. A reminder of the pimple that had been/had almost been that needed to be hidden as more approached. I'd used the classic proactiv with the best results for years and years, and went right back to that with the same results of "it's not 100%, but it's better than everything else." And on top of it, I have always had an incredibly oily face and scalp. My mother first suggested something with hyaluronic acid, and that was becoming increasingly popular while I was pregnant and was not supposed to use it, so I didn't give it another thought. But with my boy about to be turning 2, and my skin still so confused, I figured I'd give it a shot. I read outstanding reviews of this stuff, and figured I'd give it a shot. I got the serum, and the hyaluronic acid moisturizer, and got the regular face cream and eye cream in case my skin got dry. I just read a bunch of people talking about how the first week or two you use it, it can cause dryness and some peeling, so I figured I should have some of the basic stuff, too. I don't know if it's just that my skin was used to the harshness of benzoyl peroxide on the regular, or that I'm SO greasy, but I didn't experience any of the dryness, redness, or irritation that a lot of people report the first couple weeks. And I really went balls to the wall with this, and cut the proactiv out completely. Scary prospect for me. But no joke, just using the serum and the hyaluronic acid moisturizer every day, within a few days my skin calmed down a massive amount. The moisturizer is a little on the heavy side (although I used it pretty liberally) and is a little heavy for use under makeup if you're heavy handed like me, but I'd still put some on, let it soak in awhile, and just wipe my face down real quick with a cleansing cloth, and it was all good. By the end of the first week, I'd had no new pimples, and noticed dramatic lightening in the marks from old pimples, along with a generally more even skin tone, and my face felt smoother, softer, calmer, and looked it, too. I have not turned back. The best part is that my skin is also not as greasy as it was before, and I have FINALLY found a moisturizer that doesn't make me break out worse. And my skin just soaks up that serum, and that stuff is AMAZING.

I am the greatest sceptic on planet Earth, so I ordered the smallest size of this under-eye cream believing that it would be another product destined for the garbage can. I have no idea what is in this magic potion, but in one application I can see a difference. My under-eye bags seem tighter and the life-long dark circles are noticeably lighter. Thus far, there is zero irritation. I am a converted believer!

I waited several months before writing this review, because I really wanted to give this eye cream a shot and see what it could do. On the whole, I really like it and would be willing to buy again. So the tl;dr version is.. PROS: -left my skin feeling much nicer with continuous use (my eye area was dry and felt tight, with dark eye circles) -no odor -lots of product for a great price (months and months!) -great customer service CONS: -takes a while to absorb (I use it at night) -hard to control how much product you dispense at once Longer version: I will say, while my eyes are much happier now than when I first started this, it was not some one-time overnight miracle cream. I've used it nightly for weeks and weeks. My dark circles gradually lightened a bit, but how much of that is the cream and how much is water intake/stress reduction/normal sleep, I can't say. The part I can definitely attribute to the cream is that my eye areas don't feel tight, itchy, or get flakey anymore (mine were bad! lol) and on the whole they just FEEL better. My only wish is that it came in a tube so I could better control how much product I get each night- I often try to pump very lightly and get nothing, then push a little more and get enough to apply to my entire household. (Plus side- even with accidentally wasting a lot, I still have a ton of product left after months!) The cream isn't heavy or greasy feeling, luckily, but does take a bit to absorb into the skin. It's probably best applied before bed. I have really sensitive skin, and this didn't cause any negative reaction <3 I appreciate that it's basically unscented. On the whole I've been happy with this product.

I like the product however the packaging was changed recently from a pump to a tube and now you can’t control how much comes out. Some product get’s wasted and too much comes out.

My mom purchased this as an eye cream and didn't like the smell, she thought it had gone bad and contacted the company and they sent her a new one, which smelled the same. So she asked me do you want these? I wanted to say no, because I haven't really used eye cream and generally doing like it. But two full bottles?? So I tried it. And sold for life! So kudos to the company for being so good, they got a customer who had purchased this for years and many bottles!! I have dry but acne prone skin (almost 40 but yep, still getting break outs like a teenager!) This eye cream I have used as a whole face moisturizer and it's amazing. It really moisturizes but doesn't leave me clogged or greasy. It's absolutely amazing, I use rentinols and glycolic, but I have for years (again, acne) and I feel like I look younger now than I did in my 20s. My skin looks great and youthful! I don't use primarily around my eyes but most eye creams burn or irritate and this one does not! I keep a few bottles around at all times because I have tried using other moisturizers I used to use while I was waiting for a delivery and I just can't go back. This is perfect. As for the smell, I don't smell anything, it's a very light natural scent and my mom is crazy! 😂 The pump is a little aggressive, even with me using on my whole face, it pumps out too much, but I've got a hang of it now and it's fine. Only complaint I have is you have no way to tell really when it's low so one day it is just not pumping and it always leaves me a little shell-shocked (which is also why I keep more around but has been the reason I ran out because you don't really realize it's running low until it's out!) However, it's absolutely amazing, if you haven't, order it! 🤍

I preferred the earlier container w/the pump. It's funny b/c when I went to leave this review-I saw another woman had posted how much she liked the new tube container better-I'm the opposite-so-I guess we need 2 different containers!😉The eye-cream itself is excellent-I use it all over my face & neck as well. And once I ran out of this for a couple weeks-I noticed my skin wasn't as bright as when I had it. It's light, non-greasy, hardly any scent-which I'm sensitive to-so it checks all the boxes for me.

I absolutely do not recommend this product. I got it about a week ago & used it for the first time a few days ago. It was fine the first night but the next day when I woke up first thing I noticed in the mirror was that my eyes were red and super puffy! Like I had been crying all night. I didn’t think anything of it, and used it again at night the second day, the next day on day 3 my eyes were red and puffy again and as the day went on the corner of my eyes started to itch slowly like crazy. At first I thought it was pink eye but definitely not pink eye. It was the outer corner of my eyes, they started to feel super itchy when they were dry and there was this weird bumpy texture under my water line and the corners. I stopped using it and kept putting aquaphor on it all day and tried to not scratch it. I did that for 2 days and it started to get better, then tonight I got to thinking what could have been causing this, it wasn’t that hard to put 2 & 2 together because the only new thing I started using was this eye cream. And once I stopped using it, the itch & redness started to go away. And that’s when I hopped on and read the reviews on it, there are a lot of gals who reported similar problems with this eye cream. I’m so mad I should have read all the good and bad reviews first bc it is pricey. So in my opinion, do not buy! Don’t risk this causing irritation and weird texture around your eyes! & if you accidentally get to close to your water line it does sting as well! Ya’ know those ads that say “97% of women surveyed saw significant improvement...” News flash: they only use women who haven’t moisturized their skin before. So you could mist plain water on their skin and see improvement! Well I have moisturized from my tatas to my hairline for 30 years. I’m 57 now. I have used just about every product on the market. Inexpensive to quite expensive. From drug stores to sales rep. purchases. This LilyAna FaceCream and their EyeCream are everything you’d use such creams for. They soften the smile lines around my eyes and the lines around my mouth. They leave my skin feeling supple. And here’s a big surprise for me; I’ve had minor recurring rosacea on my chin area all of my adult life. This FaceCream has lessened the appearance of that damn rosacea! My only pick is this: I wish they had slightly more fragerence. (Yes, VERY MINOR complaint) The EyeCream really has no scent, and the FaceCream has a very subtle rose scent. I have very adept olfactory powers, meaning I can detect subtle differences in many fragrances easily. So any creams or lotions that are too perfumed are annoying, and any that have a chemical smell are absolutely abhorrent to me. So when I say I wish this were MORE fragrant, trust me, the fragrance it has is lovely and I wish there were more of it. I have not been paid or offered free product for this review, in fact I like it so much that I just ordered my second container of the FaceCream. The FaceCream and the EyeCream come in the same size container, but you need just a pea size blob of the EyeCream while you’ll need one whole press of the FaceCream to cover your cleavage, neck and face. When I run out of my Trader Joe's Syrum, I'm gonna try the LilyAnna Syrum! Enjoy!

My first purchase was AMAZING until it stopped working before I finished it, and unfortunately I purchased another one and the second purchase isn’t working like the first, so now I now have 1 full container and some left in the other that I’m not going to use, I’m thinking maybe the product has expired??

Smells a bit funny but overall is good. It dispenses a bit too much product when pumping, but with less pressure is ok. Results of use are good. Skin looks well rested. Works better as a preventive treatment

Absolutely LOVE this eye cream. First, out of many I've tried, that I actually like and will continue to use as it has definitely improved my under eye and eyelid. No doubt!! Softer, more hydrated, younger looking skin. A little goes a long way. Ordering my second bottle as I write this. I'm 43 and needed a true eye cream. Little to no smell and great for my sensitive skin.

I like this cream and it seems to be work nicely on my fine lines. But just like many others have said, the bottle needs to be changed. There is no way to pump out the right amount of cream. No matter how gently you press the pump, too much comes out. I end up with too much cream and it’s a waste.
