My strimmer

I've bought these alot over the years and they are normally great but the last pack I bought was horrendous. The spool popped out my strimmer every 5 minutes and the spool itself ended up getting damaged because it was so flimsy. They've definately changed the production of them. Not as good as they used to be...which is sad.

Arrived on time and as per description.

Description implied that the part was for all McGregor trimmers. Picture looked like my old part. It turned out to be a mirror image of my original. a few minutes modifying it with with a Stanley knife and a small file, and it now fits and works fine. answer;-BEWARE!! check your model number and confirm with the supplier that it is compatible before ordering, or be prepared to spend some time and effort diagnosing and modifying the component yourself..

Unfortunately this product does not seem to fit the strimmer I have. I am in contact with the seller

Used once and completely unravelled could not undo the line
