We offer sputtered films comprised of a wide array of metals to match whatever color or shade is required for a project. Because there is no dye in our sputtered films, they will not fade throughout the entirety of their lifetimes. Additionally, our layering technology limits oxidation to ensure that our films will last far longer than expected. The metal in the NSN series is comprised of an alloy of nichrome and silver. By combining the strengths of these metals, this alloy provides the film excellent reflectivity and outstanding overall performance. - Light Reflectivity - Excellent Heat Rejection - 99% UV Rejection Review: Good heat rejection, easy to work with. I really like this film! - I was tasked with installing this in a great room with huge 8' x 4' triangle shaped windows with the top of the window about 22'. It was a bit tricky pulling the backing off and keeping it straight since the sheet was huge and being up on a 15' ladder, I didn't have any help from below. I have used other films, but never in a situation this difficult. The film is very forgiving. Most tints I have used previously used would have had noticeable crease marks if it got folded over like this did. It folded over a couple times and I thought sure I would have a crease or two, but they all came out perfect! In total I did about 100 sq ft of windows just in the one room, all look great. As for heat rejection, it has lowered the room temp about 7-9 degrees on a sunny afternoon. I am very pleased with this film. I did have issues with the shipping, as the box was beat up and creased in the middle, along with the film inside. Product was returned and replaced, but the second box was also bent, but luckily the film was OK this time. They really need to work on their packaging, as a 4' long box seems to get bent/folded very easily during shipping. Other films I have used were shipped in a very strong tube, perhaps they should try using a tube vs box. Review: No cooling effect - Installed properly. 1 or 0 degree F cooling. Go with Gila! ## Features - TOP OF THE LINE window film that is both durable and scratch resistant. - EXCELLENT HEAT REJECTION. The backing liner covers the adhesive on the film so that the film does not prematurely stick. When you install the film, the backing liner needs to be peeled off from it. **Q: Does this film provide privacy (during daytime)? / Can people see in from outside?** A: This film has a lighter shade of tint, so people would be able to see in through the window. This film can be used for having some heat reduction while keeping the interior visible from outside or allowing more light to come inside. **Q: Why does the window feel warmer after the film has been installed?** A: This is an expected result. The window with the film installed feels warmer because the film stops some of the heat. If the film is not there, the heat felt on the window would instead enter the room. **Q: Why did bubbles (or spots where film is not adhering properly) form after the film was installed?** A: This is due to the moisture left inside. The film may appear fine when installed, but afterwards, the water can interfere with the adhesive and cause bubbles to form. Apply firm pressure with the squeegee and push out the water to prevent bubbles. **Q: Is the film applied on the interior or exterior side of the window?** A: This film is intended for the interior side. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good heat rejection, easy to work with. Go with Gila! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Window Film - Transparent Heat Rejection & UV Protection *by C***C on 29 January 2026* Definitely watch the video first, and probably do a small window before tackling the sliding glass door. It has enough to do 4 small windows plus the slider. So I did my 2 livingroom windows and 2 kitchen windows first. So glad I did, because the slider was not easy to install; needs 2 people to do the slider, for sure. But I would definitely buy this again. ## Frequently Bought Together - BDF NSN70 Window Film Transparent High Heat Rejection & UV Cut (Very Light) - 48in X 24ft - Gila RTK500 06008001427 Window Film Complete Installation Kit, 1-Pack ( Packaging May Vary ) - Ettore-17008 8-Inch All Purpose Window Squeegee with Lifetime Silicone Rubber Blade, Blue --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/706671955-bdf-nsn70-window-film-transparent-high-heat-rejection-and-uv](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/706671955-bdf-nsn70-window-film-transparent-high-heat-rejection-and-uv) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-11-03*
