12,000 BTU Smart Inverter 115V Window Air Conditioner, 550 Sq Ft

Great window AC unit. It's powerful enough to keep about half of my house pretty cool while it's in the 90s, saving the old whole house AC from constantly running. Hopefully this will result in my house AC lasting a while longer, it's 20+ years old and I can't afford to replace it currently. The auto and eco modes definitely work well. I have a device that reads the wattage of the window unit, it goes between 1100 and 300 watts depending on the temperature rather than running at full blast all the time. I also keep track of my daily energy usage and it has brought my usage down quite a bit. It will someday pay for itself. Over all I am very happy with my purchase. It's pretty quiet all things considered. Much quieter than the less powerful, 30 year old Westinghouse window unit it replaced. I will probably buy another unit someday to save my whole house AC unit from every needing to be replaced. Or I'll get a job that pays more so that I can afford to replace it. Yay the future.

We live in Mohave valley, Arizona and the temperatures have been 115 or higher for a couple of months now. I had an 8000 BTU in my living room and it just was not getting the job done. I highly recommend this Madea air conditioner. I live in a smaller mobile home, two bedroom, two bath and I got a 12,000 BTU and I am not kidding. It literally cools off the whole house. It's wonderful. I highly recommend it. It's quiet, easy to install. It looks nice. Has a filter in the front. Delivery was quick. I can't say enough about this product. Good job Madea!

worked fine at first,didn't need it for several weeks, started it today and it ran about 45 seconds, made a pop noise and is dead as a door nail. please advise.

BEWARE....if you're looking for a quiet, cool ac...this isn't it . I bought 2 of the Midea; when the inverter or whatever it is comes on, it rumbles like a freight train. Apparently, this is an issue with this ac...I paid someone to install it as I am in my 70s so I guess I'm stuck with it...it cools ok but that freight train noise just rumbles thru the house. At least it only lasts a short time but I will not recommend buying this unit .

The window AC I recently got is a solid product overall. It’s energy-efficient, provides excellent cooling, and operates with minimal noise, which I really appreciate. nd easy nd quick to install On top of that, it has a clean, modern design that fits well with the room. I’d definitely recommend it!

It is not a bad Ac But makes noise l. If you want something quieter this is not for you ! I was going to return it but don't have time to deal with it !

Easy to install and cools great!

Nice AC unit and fairly easy to install. Not the most quiet, I can definitely hear it running in the background but about the same noise level as having a fan run on a high setting. It did take a little bit longer to "flash cool" our living room than expected - about 1hr to have the temp go from 85 to 75 but it works well for our purposes. My only complaint is that it seems like I was sent a used unit - or at least the panel in the front has definitely been used - there are dirt marks all over the plastic framing that I didn't notice until we had already installed it. Rest of the unit seems new though.
