Boho Embroidery: The Pattern Collection: Over 30 Modern Motifs & 20 Traditional Stitches

I bought Nichole's first book Boho Embroidery Modern Projects from Traditional Stiches as a gift for my wife it was such a great hit that when I spotted this additional book I had to buy it as another great gift idea. The author encourages you to take the patterns provided and tailor them to your own style and make them your own. Beautiful pictures and such an easy read with instructions. Bought a second book to share as a gift as well. Will be searching for other books by the same author.

If you are looking for a very specific embroidery style, this book may be for you. It's well written and the patterns are nice, but I was looking for more general embroidery patterns. I wish there was a little bit more preview so I could have seen what the boho pattern style was.

Loved Nichole Vogelsinger first embroidery book. Unfortunately this one felt rushed out to capitalize on the success of the first. Defiantly get Modern Projects from Traditional Stitches. Lots of great information to get you started and in love with contemporary embroidery. But sadly pass on this, not worth the money.

It wasn't my style

This book arrived very quickly. I hesitated between this one and the first one, because I am not much into geometric shapes. However this is not a problem, because there are so many designs in the book and many flower patterns. I was attracted to the stitches presented in the book as I was looking for something more advanced, I also liked the idea of adding kumihimo braids to the embroidery. I like it so much I am thinking of ordering the first one. Last but not least, the size of the hook is very adequate, easy to hold in your hands, not too big nor too heavy. I am hooked and can't wait to start stitching!👍👍👍
