I have thin hair somewhat damaged and this blow dryer with the 3 different heat settings with one touch of the button helps my hair not to dry too fast and help it dry without signs of damage. I've been using the Laifen Hair Dryer SE 2 for a few weeks, and it's been a great upgrade from my previous dryer. The high-speed motor dries my hair much faster than I expected, cutting down my styling time significantly without exposing my hair to excessive heat. One of the biggest differences I've noticed is how smooth and less frizzy my hair looks after drying. The negative ion technology seems to help reduce flyaways and leaves my hair feeling softer and shinier. I also appreciate how lightweight the dryer is, making it comfortable to use even during longer styling sessions. The noise level is lower than most hair dryers I've owned, which makes the experience much more pleasant. The magnetic attachment is easy to switch on and off, and the controls are simple to use. Overall, this dryer combines speed, convenience, and hair-friendly performance in a sleek package. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a powerful yet gentle hair dryer.

This hair dryer is amazing! I had long hair that I recently cut to shoulder length and with layers and this hairdryer with the diffuser dries it faster than any hair dryer ever has. AND it brings the curl out to give me a short wave/curl style! The magnetized diffuser really holds. It heats fast and the three temperatures are great. I especially like the rotating heat levels! This dryer is a bit more expensive than ones I have purchased in the past, but it is well worth the money.

Impressive dryer! It's so quiet compared to other dryers I've had and dries my hair quickly (I have thick, shoulder-length hair, so appreciate the fast drying time). I love that I can go from cool air to hot with the push of a button. My only pet peeve, and it's a small one, is that the buttons are placed on the handle and I can tend to push them by accident while using the unit. I've had this dryer for a few months now and so far, I've been rpleased by its performance. (And if you're into packaging, it does come beautifully boxed).

Review Date Sept 2026. I was undecided on how many stars to give this hair dryer. After a month of use, I have 2 issues. I am a former Wally World hair dryer purchaser so this is definitely an upgrade from my previous ones. My hair is a naturally curly/wavy mix. I am trying to go with my more natural look and am new to the diffusing process. First, my biggest complaint, I've never owned a hair dryer this loud. I either wear ear plugs or put cotton in my ears when using this dryer. I have almost waist length hair so drying takes time and the volume is too much. If I'm going to go deaf I'd rather it be from jamming to music. Second, I hope they update the design. The temperature selection is on the bottom under the on/off switch. If they had swapped these buttons, it would be so much better. Every time I dry my hair, I lay my hand over the temp selection and have to cycle back to where it was set. To my knowledge there is no way to lock a temperature setting to prevent this from happening. With that being said, this dryer performs awesome. It dries quicker than other dryers, I've had. I use it to help dry, after a shower, and it works great. I use it to dry small wet spots on clothes. We have definitely put it through it's paces. There's been no problems with either of the magnetic attachments, they stay well attached. The diffuser I consider just a standard size. I got the purple and it is pretty. This is the most I've have spent on a hair dryer but provided it lasts as long as my previous ones, it is worth the price. As of today, I would purchase this brand again.

Love. Works wonderfully. My hair is softer than using my old Walmart blow dryer. Love the multiple settings and high power fan. So glad I made this purchase. Plus it’s very pretty and is small so will be easy to travel with.

Last time I went to the salon, my hairdresser had this. I asked how she liked it compared to the dyson. I will not spend that kind of money on a hairdryer but always coveted it. She said this was a great alternative so I snatched it up. I have been very happy. My curls look great. I didn't think a hairdryer could make a difference, but i sre does. Less frizz. I don't get why or how but i'm going with it. Lightweight. Good looking. I like the magnetized attachnents.I use on medium heat at high speed and it works great.

I love the lighting as an indicator of the heat. I like that it is lightweight. I like that even the hottest temperature does not burn my scalp. I like that it is more compact. However, what I don’t like is the way the handle is shaped It makes it difficult to hold and difficult to direct because there is no adjustment of the handle to fit the hand. It’s just a cylinder. I understand that it’s part of the modern vibe and that it makes it look more forward looking. But it is harder to hold, and it is harder to change direction and it is harder to change temperature. The controls are on the outside of the handle and because the handle is not contour to fit the hand this makes it harder to change. I’m going to keep the product, but my hope is that the manufacturer will change these critical features so that we are not fatigued every time we use this thing because it does have many positive aspects. For the price, I expected some thing more customer oriented. I think it’s like buying the sofa from some modern outlet and it looks great, but you can’t sit in it for more than 15 minutes without being uncomfortable. That is this blow dryer. I’m sure it’s better for my hair, but it makes my hands ache by the time. I am finished because I have to grip the handle so hard. Manufacture, please modify the handle and please move the controls to the inside of the handle where almost all blow dryers have their controls. Why? Because it makes it easier for the user. Maybe you only tried this out on 20 something but I gotta tell you middle-age folks and probably seniors will find this a challenge. The only saving grace is that. It is so lightweight. Again for the price I expected better. Clearly, I saw the description and clearly I saw the image of the product, but it’s one thing to see it demonstrated by a Hair professional. It’s another to try to use it yourself. Fix the handle in the controls. You owe it to your customers.

Love love love the child safe button! Keeps my blonde hair so healthy and shiny. Best feature ever made ! So gentle on my scalp, hands and hair! Love everything about this. The temp cycle feature is also amazing ! So useful to keep things from burning . Too bad is not dual voltage ! Had to get two for my travels . Thank you Laifen for making affordable quality!

My wife said this hair dryer is a massive improvement over past cheaper brands and will be used so well in the coming months

It’s so hard finding a big cup and I struggled figuring the size of this. It’s 5.5 inches diffuser for anyone like me who was looking. Cute, decent size diffuser. Love it
