This simple and elegant press makes a very good coffee. I ground my beans from Colombia and was delighted!It’s hard to screw up such a simple machine, so I thought I would comment on the quality: the metal is thick and the finish is a lovely polished chrome, nice enough for a formal presentation. The handle is solid and the weight is substantial. I don’t see this falling apart any time soon.

The coffee maker is nicely finished, but the top doesn’t seal and the thermal insulation doesn’t work as it should. The outside gets warm, which means the coffee inside gets cold. The outer liner is a nice touch. Don’t expect to have hot coffee for long, and you’ll be happy

Honestly this press is beautiful, super well made and the coffee tastes great however I didn’t realize when I ordered it that it’s all stainless steel and it comes with a removeable suede cover. Which is very pretty however it’s a pain to take on and off to clean.
