Excellent, works perfectly as you'd expect from bodum.Read the previous reviews stating the plunger doesn't go all the way down. While this is true it doesn't affect the performance. Coarse ground beans work great, ground filter coffee works well too just be careful towards the end of the pour.Great purchase at a great price.Update took this to work today and made some brews. When you add milk grounds do not come through

Does the job but a bit disappointing. As previous reviews the plunger doesn’t go down to the bottom leaving about 20% of the coffee trapped underneath. Meaning you don’t have a full mug of coffee. Prefer my pour our individual cup.

Take it to work to have decent coffee during the day. Can't believe how hot it keeps the drinks inside. Once i cross threaded the lid and didnt realise and spilt coffee on the desk. not really the cups fault though.

Great product but wrongly advertised, the pictures show that it comes with a spare lid but it doesn’t. It only comes with the French press lid.

This cup looks great and very pleasing in the hand. It took a few times to get used to it so as not to get coffee grinds in my mouth. Just don't let the water go above the thread lines on the inside and also give it a few minutes after preparing your coffee before plunging. This i found made sure that even when trying to get that last enjoyable sip, you don't get any grinds in your mouth. I've had so many people ask me, wow, what is that. When I explain it's a cafetiere cup, their all amazed and want one.

Great idea poorly executedLength of the plunger is too short so the coffee beneath it , about an inch doesn’t pour out. Lid is awkward as you have to screw it on with the plunger attached. Also coffee continues to brew so it gets bitter. I bought it for work now i make it and pour it into a cup when ready. Disappointed and am now just buying a cafetière for work and a cup with a lid for meetings

Great cafetiere travel mug. It brews coffee really well, but ensure you don't drink all, as the bottom has some granules, whilst there is the filter.

Very poor design. I was excited about this mug as I have one in the standard design and I love it. Unfortunately, this version is very disappointing due to two factors. Firstly, the plunger only goes 2/3 of the way down so you are left with a third of the coffee being inaccessible. Secondly, in the process of putting the lid onto the mug, the plunger doesn’t stay stable in an upright position so unless you are very careful, coffee grinds escape via the edges. I’m so disappointed with this. It’s already in a cupboard and unlikely to be used.

Great item for travelling especially for that all important morning cuppa.. Washes well in the dishwasher.

It’s supposed to come with an additional lid as I’ve bought this item before from the Bodum website and the photos show an additional lid but I didn’t get one. Disappointed

I’m disappointed with this because the press doesn’t go all the way down to the bottom, it is too short. I want to use this to make a strong, fairly short coffee. But even with a lot of coffee grounds in the bottom, the press doesn’t go down far enough to give a good press. I will experiment further in the coming days, but the amount of coffee grounds I used today is comparable to what I use regularly in my moka percolator pot.

Yeah its nice and it works well. Makes pretty and tast coffee.The only thing is that the handle to push down is very short and that leaves a lot of coffee below the filter. Not sure I understand why this is...
