One of our family’s favorite quick and easy games! It’s about 60/40 strategy/luck, and it gives your brain a gentle workout (spatial reasoning). It’s simple enough for the oldest and youngest players in our family, and engaging enough for everyone. Usually a round takes 5-10 minutes, but we did have a round the other day that went longer.

We've had this game for 2 years and still play it regularly. First of all the artwork is gorgeous. Gameplay is straightforward and easy to learn (and teach). Deceptively simple though! If you draw certain cards that are harder to play, you have to be pretty strategic to get rid of them. Its convenient size also makes it one of our go-to travel games.

This game is absolutely gorgeous! The design was impeccably thought out and great attention was paid to every detail. Our family loves it so much, that we purchased another for a friend! It's easy to learn and quick to play. The concept is simple enough for my 4.5 year old to be able to grasp, but it is so much fun the whole family enjoys playing! This is our second "Grandpa Beck" game (we also love Cover Your Assests), and we will definitely be back for more!

I bought this game for our game nights with our neighbors, one of which is elderly and in a state of decline. We try to get together to make memories while we have the time. The game was easy to understand and the color matching was enough for our older loved one to comprehend. The artwork is beautiful! The way in which to shuffle (due to shape of the cards) was doable for someone with arthritis in the hands. Overall a great experience. Our friends loved this game and we will add it to our regular rotation. I’ve already purchased another game from this designer and we can’t wait to try it also.

Super fun game, great for a wide range of ages. We play just amongst adults as well as being suited for kids. Low intensity gameplay for calm gaming sessions. Some strategy can be used but a go with the flow approach works too. Don't have to think much but you can get creative and witty with some cards if you wanted to lean away from too chill of a game. Card tiles are a good quality and the have held up nicely. Great value to add to the game chest.

We own 5 of the Grandpa Beck games. This one is very easy and very chill. Easy for kids to play. It is a more relaxing game then anything. Your laying hexagonal cards that have various colors on them. It's a puzzle game of matching up the colors. The artwork is pretty and it is very easy to learn. It doesn't have a lot of strategy and is very chill. The only frustrating thing about it is the hexagonal shape of the cards make shuffling a pain. A great game to gift.

I bought this for future gaming with my 3 and 4 year old granddaughters. They're both too young to play to the rules but, I got the tiles out anyway. Well, they love it. Messing the tiles up on the floor, joining the tiles, learning to match one or two sides of colours, queen bee being the centre of bee attention, beautiful flowers, bears eating honey,... Well worth the cost and if they love it as much when they can play the rules....best Pop & granddaughter family fun. ⭐⭐⭐⭐🌟
