The restaurant type are too stiff and for bigger jobs. With these you can get down in mayonnaise, mustard, sauce jars, to scrape the remaining remnants. Make your jars easier to wash in case you want to reuse them. Scrapes your pots and pans clean . The handle is very sturdy, the rubber spatula is very flexible and does a terrific job. I actually got a half serving more out of the pudding I made last night because it's scraped it so clean. I guess if you look at it that way, the spatulas would eventually pay for themselves. These are great little spatulas for mixing or baking purposes. As advertised they are perfect for cake batters and spreading frosting. Since they are heat resistant they would be perfect for scraping bowls of melted chocolate or caramel to use in batter or frosting. They are well made and colorful and an attractive addition to any kitchen. They do not take up much room in your drawers so storing is a breeze. I forgot how handy a kitchen tool could be! I don't know why, but I have not been using spatulas. A friend of mine bought these and told me how nice they are. She said they hard strong yet flexible. I had 1 very old rubber spatula that was too big for most jobs, and 1 little rubber spatula that was ok for smaller jobs. These very pretty silicone spatulas are the perfect size for most cases and they work so much better because their pliable and not stiff like my old rubber ones. I love these spatulas!
