This product is as described. The price is high, but at least you get two washes out of a single bottle. I clean my Opal Ice Maker fairly regularly with hot water and bleach, but it's necessary to do a deeper clean at least once or twice a year, and that's when I use this product. I did not have any issues with the product being damaged in shipping. Will purchase again.

Works as advertised. It cleans out the nugget ice maker and we have had no problems. We are good about doing this every month as the instructions call for an so far this product has handled our water and the machine just fine.

Works really well my ice machine was squeaking it stopped that you should still clean your machine with dish soap it’s dirtier than you think but that makes everything clean and all you need to do

totally over priced. Tiny amounts of cleaner in bottles, makes it seem like half spilled out. I purchased the name brand cleaner hoping it would stop my babied ice maker from demanding it needs cleaned in order to work for 5 minutes. Didn't do any good. Followed the directions like gospel to have it blinking yellow at me before making 3 ice cubes when done. Ive tried every cleaner, even citric acid cleaners. Best I can ever get is half a day if ice before its blinking it needs cleaned again. Ive only ever used distilled water in this thing. So, long rant summed up, if your opal blinks the cleaning ring at you all the time, don't waste your money, this isn't going to help.

This is a great product and cleans our machine great. The problem is with the packaging and delivery. The product needs to be better packaged. We have received on two occasions when the box was wet from leakage of the bottle. This product is pricey so every drop counts. Better packaging is a MUST!

I left my ice maker go longer than I should have for cleaning out the mineral deposits. I used this per the instructions it comes with and it did the job great! If you have bad buildup of mineral deposits like I did, I definitely recommend letting it do it's job for the full 18 hours it states in the directions. While my instructions were not clear on this, I did run it about half of the time in "making ice" mode to get the chemical into that area. The other half, I had the sponge soaked and sitting up in the machine where the ice drops out, resoaking it every once in awhile. Once I drained the machine, I ran several cycles of ice, throwing away the ice to ensure the chemical has been removed from the system.

I have purchased many times but no more. The cap is very hard to remove most times, the last purchase I had to pry off with a can opener tool, of course some spilled and then you only use half a bottle at a time and the other half I needed to find an empty jar as the bottle was worthless at this point.

Makes cleaning the opal ice maker much easier.
