Love this product so much, I don’t know how many times I have bought them. Great to marinate chicken with and to make Hainanese rice in a pinch. Great for Travel too where are you? Can’t find fresh lemon grass and ginger.

well i have eaten chicken rice in singapore. it's really good over there. this rice has good flavor and you can eat it as a side without the chicken in the pot. in singapore they seem to poach the chicken dunk it in ice cubes and poach it again. it's a long process, i did it once when i got home. very messy but tasty.

Good flavor. Easy to use. Obviously it’s not restaurant quality, but it tastes like home made.

My husband is from Penang, Malaysia and he said this tasted like the real deal! I put raw chicken piece on top of washed rice, put the sauce on top and cooked it all in the rice cooker (I did add some garlic and scallions for additional flavor). Super easy and so tasty! You can mix a little bit of lite soy sauce with sesame oil to use as dipping sauce for the chicken :) this sauce is good for about 2 cups of raw rice + 2-3 pieces of chicken thigh meat. Perfect for an easy weeknight dinner!
