Great ear plugs for small ear canals.
I like the ability to size them down. They are comfortable, work well. They get a little sticky is the only down side. But blocking a snoring partner is so worth it!

Best Earplugs by far
I've tried every earplug there is, and these are the best! I have recommended them to several of my friends, and they say the same thing. And they thank me for telling me about them. Totally block out noise.

I've tried other options over the years like foam, silicone
I have used these for over 20 years to block snoring and noisy neighbors. I've tried other options over the years like foam, silicone, ...etc. in an effort to find something cheaper, but nothing seals, blocks noise and is as comfortable as these are. It can certainly take some time to get used to since they are different from other earplugs, but once you really get the hang of it, these are absolutely unparalleled.First I remove the excess cotton - no not every fiber, because the cotton is mixed throughout with the wax. Then I actually tear mine into 2 halves, because I have small ear canals and one whole one for each ear is too big for me. My husband uses whole ones for each ear.I don't spend much time "warming them up". I just squeeze them between my fingertips a couple of times until it's more elongated. Then I put them into each ear and press gently on the tragus, to flatten and fit the earplug. Sometimes I push on the back of the ear to release pressure if the seal is too tight. It sounds more complicated then it is. You just need to play around with it until you figure out how they work best for you.Once inserted, the wax starts to warm up to body temperature and makes the earplug so soft and pliable that you don't even feel it. They may slip out or leave a little waxy feel the first couple of nights, but after that they're perfect. Reviews of wax slipping and dripping or just nonsense. And neither silicone or foam stays put or feels comfortable.I usually reuse the same earplugs for weeks on end, until they either get too small or don't seal as good anymore due to shrinkage of the wax. I mean they're German engineered - what else can I say :)

Effective but waxy
These are effective at keeping out noise. However, it can take a while for them to warm up enough to mold if the environment is cold. Also, I believe they caused wax to build up in my ear, so it's good to take a break from using them every few nights and to monitor wax buildup in the ear canal.

Nice, malleable ear plugs do the job.
I love these earplugs. I’ve been using them for quite some time. They are wax and mold to your ears nicely. I usually use one pair for a short time and then set that pair aside in the plastic storage container after they lose some size. Then I wear a second pair until they become smaller. At that point, I roll one of each pair together to make two larger plugs and use those until they get old and dirty and begin to harden. A couple of pairs can last a long time if you use them carefully. They are much better than fixed size hard plastic ear plugs because you can mold them to fit your individual ears. I’ve used ear plugs for at least 45 years and these are the best I’ve found for my needs. They are easy to insert and remove, do a good job of keeping most regular noise down (I use them to help keep it quiet for sleeping) and last for a long time if you take care of them and store the ones you are using in the plastic cube many of the boxes of plugs come with. As I said, I’ve been using these for quite some time.Years ago I used Flents Ear Stopples which were similar to these, but then they changed what they were made of and the Flents lost their malleability. I thought I would never find ear plugs as good as the old Flents, but these are equal or better.I also tried Quies, but they aren’t nearly as good as these, but might be useable in an emergency.I simply don’t have any use for any of the ear plugs that are hard plastic with one or more umbrella type heads on them. They are too much work and invariably cause pain due to their common problem of cutting off blood flow or digging in to the ear. Nope the OHROPAX are the best for my needs.
