Local Chocolate Snob is Unamused and Unsatisfied
First off, my package came in rather late, but considering weather and...pandemic, I can excuse this. A few bars were also already broken, but nothing was really damaged. Can't really complain about that. However. I can't excuse the chocolate itself. These were smaller chocolate bars than I expected, and the ingredients left me wanting. Chocolate- real chocolate, requires cocoa butter in it to give it that perfect melt in your mouth. Each different bar had chocolate liquor as a listed ingredient, but the 72% cacao bars had cocoa powder instead of cocoa butter, meaning there was a lack of the melting in your mouth. Each bar thankfully had the wonderful, audible "snap" that good chocolate should always have, but for some reason, even the bars including cocao butter didn't melt in my mouth very well, and each left an almost waxy aftertaste coating the inside of my mouth. Extremely disappointing. I would gain more pleasure from eating Hershey's Dark Chocolate, and would have paid less than half the price for as much chocolate.

Wow what a rip of super small chocolate bars. Cant return them ! The seller is totally ripping off people . Don’t buy this item. Go directly to trader Joe’s. .
