I usually don't write reviews unless it's a 5 star. I'd rather rant about why I like something as opposed to why I don't....unless it REALLY sucks. This little guy is frickin amazing. I am an avid coin collector and wanted something to view coins without having to use a normal handheld magnifier. This little guy does the job. I love that it has an internal battery that lasts a decent amount of time if you don't use the 2 back lights. But I just plug a battery pack into it and go forever. At least if I'm not near a plug. The lens attachments it comes with are great for naked viewing and for viewing things in a reflective cover. The anti reflective guard works GREAT. Just get it. It's cheap and you won't be disappointed.

I love everything about this microscope. Easy to operate and set up. Perfect for coin or stamp collection.

4 out of 5 Stars TOMLOV DM9 7" Digital Microscope First Impressions Better Than Expected I picked this up mostly for coin inspection and honestly did not expect much for the price. Right out of the box it feels more solid than it has any right to be at this price point. The base is metal. The stand does not wobble. The 7 inch screen is bright and clear from the moment you turn it on. Setup is plug and play, no frustration, no manual hunting. I was looking at my first coin within ten minutes. The Screen and Image Quality Genuinely Impressive The 7 inch 1080P display is the star of this product. You are not squinting through a tiny eyepiece. You are looking at a full screen image with real detail. At higher magnifications you can see fine textures, edge wear on coins, solder joints on circuit boards, even the hairs on a bug's leg. The 12MP camera captures clean photos and the included 32GB SD card means you can document everything without thinking about storage. I have also used the PC connection for even larger viewing during longer sessions and it works without any issues. Lighting Better Than Most at This Price The built in lights are bright and even without hot spots which matters more than people realize. Uneven lighting at high magnification ruins detail. The auxiliary lights help eliminate shadows in darker work spaces. The anti reflective attachment that comes included is not an afterthought, use it. It makes a real difference on reflective surfaces like coins and circuit boards. Natural light sometimes outperforms the built in lighting depending on your setup but having both options is genuinely useful. Real World Uses More Versatile Than You Think I primarily use this for coin inspection but it has expanded into electronics repair, soldering work, and just general close up inspection of small parts. For soldering it is outstanding, a stable magnified view of a joint while you work is invaluable. For coin roll hunting it handles the pace well. I have also used it to inspect tarantula molts for sexing which requires seeing very subtle anatomical features and it handles that with no problem. This is not just a coin microscope. It is a capable general purpose close up inspection tool. The One Real Limitation Height Adjustment Here is why I am giving this four stars instead of five. The height adjustment range is too short out of the box. You cannot get a full silver dollar in frame at the stock height without building a riser or elevating the entire assembly. I had to raise mine about twelve inches to get full coin coverage. The focus range does accommodate the extra height once you solve it but you should know going in that you will likely need to improvise a solution if full coin photography is your primary use. For everything else the height is fine. For full silver dollar shots it is a genuine limitation. There is also no calibration mechanism to lock in a specific magnification like 5X which is the standard reference for coin grading. You can still see wear and flaws clearly but you cannot make an official grade call at a verified magnification. For casual inspection this is not a problem. For serious grading work it is worth knowing. Bottom Line For the price this microscope is genuinely hard to beat. The image quality, screen size, build quality, and versatility put it well above what most people expect from a budget digital microscope. If you are a coin collector, hobbyist, electronics tinkerer, or anyone who needs reliable close up inspection this delivers. Just be prepared to solve the height limitation yourself if full coin photography is your main goal. Four stars. Highly recommended with that one caveat.

Very good build quality for the price. The bottom is made of metal, so is very good for doing hot air and soldering work under. It's pretty adjustable as well. Very easy to put together. Was surprised at the clarity of it honestly, although I highly recommend the no glare attachment it comes with for best clarity. Seems durable enough for what it is. Been using it for soldering jobs that are too small to effectively work on with the naked eye, and it does a great job at that. Haven't found the remote very useful, or the fact it can take pictures or videos yet, but those are features it does come with if that's something you're interested in. Would definitely recommend this if you need a digital microscope

This is a real review and I am not a robot. I have this set up next to my bed. I like to look at Bugs I like little coins anything and everything that is too small to see. It’s great. We could take videos with it. it’s got lights. It’s remote control Very easy to use multiple lenses for the microscope part of it and slides so you can take your own samples and look at them underneath the microscope.

As a sports card grader, this TOMLOV microscope has become one of the most important tools on my desk. Works quite well, it's a bit hard to get the adjustable lights to work with you but everything works. I wish the base was a bit heavier, as I've tipped it over already on accident, but if you can find a way to put a bit more weight on it, it's perfectly stable otherwise.

Although it is not clear in title or description, this is actually Tomlov DM9 model. The first one I got I had to return as it wasn't charging, but the replacement was promptly sent. I really liked to product. It does everything as advertised. One thing i was confused was about SD Card. Images say it comes in built but product details said otherwise. Nevertheless i actually got an SD card so happy too USB to PC camera works like a charm These are imported pieces so you need to charge for 3 hours as it is idle from long time It was mainly bought for my dad to help in his soldering but the plate was bit small I thought. Overall 5/5. Really liked it

Fairly decent results for the price, useful for electronic repairs etc. gives a fair magnification and decent image quality. I think if you're serious about using this for electronic PCB repairs then consider the version with an adjustable arm which would be easier to move without the metal base plate getting in the way as on this model.
