The media could not be loaded. I purchased this fireplace primarily for its heat output, not just for the ambiance. I needed a heater for my 4-season room, and after trying a couple of other portable heaters in the $100-$250 range, obviously this is not a good idea. So I decided to go with a fireplace design. The heat output is quite good for its size—not over-the-top, but sufficient for my needs.I initially planned to surface-mount it, but it’s a bit too thick for that, so I opted to cut into the wall for a more integrated look. It looks fantastic now, but be aware you’ll need to run electrical for an outlet or use an existing one.The flames are nice—not super realistic, but the color combinations are fun, and my family love watching them. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase and feel it was well worth the money.
