I bought the HOMEIDEAS blackout curtains in the greyish-green color for our east-facing family room, and I’ve been very happy with them.The color is a soft, muted green with subtle gray undertones. In certain light, they can occasionally look to be more of a light gray. These replaced expensive dark maroon drapes that we have had for 20 years so I was worried the color might be too dull, but once they were up, I actually really liked the way they gave the room a calm, relaxed feel.I love that they really are light-blocking. Since our family room gets blasted with sunlight first thing in the morning, we needed something to cut the glare and keep the heat out on these really hot summer days. These drapes did the trick. While they don’t make the room pitch black because light sneaks in around the edges, they do block out the harsh sunlight and soften everything, which is exactly what we needed. I'd say they block about 95% of the light, which makes the room feel cooler and we still get a little bit of natural light in the mornings..The fabric feels thick and soft — definitely more substantial than I expected for the price. They hang nicer than our old expensive grommet drapes too, with the soft folds making them look much more expensive than they are without being too formal.One thing to note because i have seen others complain: Yes they came folded pretty tightly and had some creases. I hung them for a few days then only had to do a light steaming on the deeper creases before they looked beautiful.In all, I love these drapes and hope to buy more for our master bedroom when our budget allows it.

These currains are super nice and easy to work with. They work really well blocking out light on my bedroom window so I can sleep during the day. Great for night shift workers!

I wish I could give these more than 5 stars!They are thick, VERY nice quality (material, stitching, fabric), and they just look really fantastic. The color is great too, absolutely the color I was looking for and true to the product picture.The ABSOLUTELY make the room significantly darker. I didn’t realize how thin my old curtains were until I got these. I was even able to return TWO whole packages (total of 4 curtains) because these are so much thicker/room darkening that I didn’t need as many on one rod. I used to have 6 on a long bedroom window, I was able to put 4 of these. The other bedroom window (regular sized) had 4 curtains previously, I was able to put 2 on there.The before and after pictures are kind of hard to tell a difference in the room lighting because my phone is an overachiever and brightens the picture when the room is darker lol. But, you can see how much the lighting used to come through the old curtains, and how it doesn’t anymore. The before/after pics were taken at the same time of day, same house lights off, just a few minutes apart from each other - I turned off all the lights, took before pictures, hung the curtains, then took the after pictures. When I close my bedroom door with the lights off, it’s almost completely dark in there.I honestly could not be any happier with this purchase! One of my best home purchases! ❤️

great product, the quality is very good, not wrinkle free but slightly wrinkled, material is very good, great value for money. I just ordered the wrong length. I will be ordering the next size to have it slightly longer.

These blackout curtains have made a noticeable difference in my bedroom. They block out most of the sunlight, which has helped me sleep in on weekends and keeps the room cooler during the hottest part of the day. The fabric feels much nicer than I expected, and they were easy to hang right out of the package. They also look more expensive than they actually are. The only downsides I’ve noticed are that a little bit of light still comes through around the edges of the window (which is expected unless the curtains are wider than the window), and they did have a few wrinkles from being packaged. After hanging them for a few days, most of the wrinkles relaxed on their own. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase. They do exactly what I wanted, improve the look of the room, and provide great privacy. I’d definitely buy another set for the rest of my house.

These curtains worked exactly as I hoped when I put them in the room. They blocked out the light very well, helped make the space feel darker and more comfortable, and the baby blue color matched the painted color scheme perfectly.They also gave the room a much more finished look instead of feeling like plain window coverings. Unfortunately, when I asked my son to wash all the curtains in the house, he dried these on high heat, and that did not turn out well. That was our mistake, not a problem with how the curtains performed. Before that happened, they looked great and did an excellent job keeping the light out.
