I was really looking forward to trying YumEarth Organic Fruit Chews because I wanted a delicious alternative to Starburst without gelatin. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The candy tastes way too fruity and overly sweet, and it doesn’t have that delicious, satisfying Starburst flavor I was hoping for and The texture is another problem. Unlike Starburst, which has a firmer, chewier texture, these fruit chews are way too soft and seem to dissolve or break down almost immediately when chewing. They don’t have that satisfying chewiness I was expecting but The taste isn’t terrible, but it’s not particularly enjoyable or impressive either. Another disappointment is that there are only four flavors! I really wish YumEarth offered more variety, maybe eight or even twelve different flavors. It would also be amazing if they introduced a sour edition and other exciting flavor combinations. I appreciate the organic ingredients and gelatin-free recipe, but the flavor, sweetness, and variety could definitely use improvement.
