I purchased this product because I understood , based on the information provided, that it is an expandable system. I required 6 handsets on the system. It is clearly not. Extremely frustrating dealing with AT & T to get support, it is impossible! I had purchased an additional handset to "register" with the main base, that is how you get the system from 5 to 6 handsets. Not possible! not stated in the information online. After countless phone calls to AT&T, I finally gave up. I have to say that Amazon customer support was excellent in helping me with this issue, but they are customer support, not phone technicians. They even sent another handset to replace the additional one I purchased, unfortunately to no avail. I had to call another division of AT& T, it was mobile, to try and help, but even that person attempted to get through the AT&T maze of phone tech support to try and help me and she experienced the same issues and could not get through the right technicians. AT&T acronym for Assistance That's Terrible"

I am classed as ELDERLY and I had no trouble programming my friends into the directory. The manual is easy to understand and follow. Highly recommend!!
