Not UL Listed, but did catch bugs
I bought two similar brands to see which one worked better. We were being overrun by gnats in the kitchen, bathrooms, and the home-office. This brand definitely worked better than the other brand at catching gnats because it has a much brighter light. However, I do have a few concerns:1. It worked well in the small bathrooms - but did not work well in our open-concept kitchen, or our larger office.2. It is NOT UL Listed, so I have safety concerns about this product.3. The slots are large enough for adult fingers. AND the capacitor holds a charge for several hours after the device is unplugged. I know because I was trying to clean out the one from the bathroom and my finger slipped in. It gave me a nice little jolt that felt like I stuck my tongue to a live 9-volt battery. So, I would not plug these in where children can reach them. The bright lights are too much of a temptation and if adult fingers can slip in, so can children's.My review would be higher except it doesn't work well in an average size bedroom (our office) and my other concerns listed above. It did kill bugs, though. As I said, the one from the small bathroom actually needed cleaning in 3 days.

It works as advertised. Great Value For The Price.
This zapper lures in those tiny pests that surround your plants, fruit, and refuse bins - for the kill. I was skeptical at first - but for the price, I couldn’t really lose. And surprisingly - it works as well, or better - than the sticky targets that you place in your houseplanters or the detergent solution placed in a bowl.....perhaps better!I like that it is nice looking, has its own little power switch, and that it is quick to clean and return to service! To clean it I just switch it off, remove it from the receptacle, brush the elements off in the trash with a soft brush. Then it’s ready to go again. If you want even more coverage, get multiple units. I use just the one for my mom’s kitchen. It really has done the job!

worked for me.
First off I just want to say I was hesitant with the mixed reviews but tried this little blue light thing anyway.-I found that it works best at night as the light is what seems to attract to insects.-I have one in the Kitchen and Bathroom where smells are greatest in the home.-Mine has killed over 50 fruit flies/ annoying gnats and I HAVE notice an improvement.-THIS IS NOT SOMETHING THAT WORKS OVERNIGHT. Its been about a week for me and im satisfied with the results.

Does not kill bugs, not a single one.
I have an infestation of hundreds of gnats and fruit flies. I bought this, plugged it in, turned it on, and expected to hear the near constant zap zap of gnats dying.Nothing. Not a single zap. Not a single dead bug. There are dozens flying past it, but they're not attracted to it at all. And yes, all of the other lights are off. This seemed a lot to pay for one little plug-in. I don't have that much money to spend, and I obviously wasted it on this worthless thing.

Seems to be working well...
I wasn't dealing with a super heavy infestation, so if you are ymmv, but, I was hating the fruit flies that seemed to be gathering around the fruit bowl & compost and this seemed pretty inexpensive/worth a try. It might not be working as well as it could because I think it says it works best in the dark (the packaging came with stickers on the back obscuring some of the directions...) but the population of fruit flies is definitely decreased so it's definitely working.

Not safe
I plugged the product in and decided to remove it because I thought there was a better place to plug it however when I went to unplug it half of the plug remained in the wall socket, electrician charge me $75 to remove it this product is not worth it and it's not safe
