Weleda Men's After Shave Lotion, 3.4 oz

The Weleda after shave balm is an excellent finish for shaving. The amount of aftershave balms on the market is dizzying. I spent time researching them and selected the Weleda balm based on numerous positive reviews. I switched to wet shaving four or so months ago and found my skin is quite dry after shaving. I used Neutrogena body emulsion previously, which is great for the body, but I find it leaves an unpleasing smell on my face along with the smell of the shaving soap I use. The Weleda balm is a perfect match with the shaving soap and provides excellent hydration for my skin following a shave. After shaving, I use cold water and a washcloth to rinse my face and neck off, being careful not to rub, but only dab water on the skin. The cold water closes the pores. I then wring out the washcloth and dab my face, leaving a thin layer of water on my skin, then apply a dime-sized amount of the Weleda balm and spread it all over my face, under my chin, and on my neck. A little bit spreads nicely on a wet face. The Weleda balm has alcohol in it, but I don't find it irritates my face or dries my skin at all. It leaves my skin soft and smooth, feeling healthy, and the smell is wonderful! I love it. I'm very pleased with this balm, and I recommend it to others. It's worth the price and lasts quite a while. UPDATE 2/12/15: I purchased this in January of 2014. It's now mid-February 2015 and I'm almost finished with the bottle. I shave every two days, and this bottle lasted over a year.

At first I didn't like it because its too liquid but now that I used the entire bottle I think its pretty good. Not greasy, smells great for me, and its relatively cheap compared to many other European after-shaves. I'd probably buy again. And now that I do want to buy it, it's not sold anywhere.......

I ran out of C.O. Bigelow Black Elixir No. 1701 aftershave balm, which was my preferred aftershave. When it was time to refill I discovered No. 1701 is no longer made. After doing a bit of research I decided to give Weleda a shot. What really decided me on Weleda is that they know where all the ingredients come from because they grow the bulk of them themselves, and source the others through fair trade. I'm glad I went with Weleda because this aftershave balm is the best I've ever used. It's not heavy, like some balms, and has a very bright, fresh scent. It is incredibly refreshing on the skin and I have had absolutely no irritation since using it. And a major bonus for me--since I really can't stand plastic containers--is that it comes in a nice glass bottle. I suggest you try it. This is the aftershave balm you've been looking for.

Discrete but enjoyable odor, comfortable, nice mechanical design - easily lets out just the quantity needed. Only taking 1 star out because I've seen better - this is nice but Aqua di Gio is spectacular. Warmly recommended for daily use. If you want to impress then use Aqua di Gio.

So fresh 'n So clean! Absolutely love this aftershave. Very soothing and smells excellent! Hints of lemon 🍋 and 🌿 mint. The bottles I have received in the past say made in 🇩🇪 Germany. It says made in USA on the Amazon listing so maybe it changed and they have a production plant here in the USA now? I know the company Weleda is from 🇨🇭 Switzerland but they have a production plant in Germany. I will order it again because I always love it and so do the ladies! 😉👍💃🏾

Was not my idea of an after shave. Strange feel on skin and fragrance. Tossed it out.

This grabbed a top spot in rotation has alcohol no sting I use like aftershave then add additional cream though could get buy on its own.I get no coconut its more a soothing tea scent not overpowering.Very nice on the skin not heavy would be good in hot climates.I would think if this was your only product could last a year mine will last much longer since I have way too much stuff.

Tried after seeing all the good reviews, I love a good after shave but hard to find something worthwhile. This stuff is excellent the feel is cooling, fresh , and clean you skin feels great. Its a good smell took a few shaves to get use to it but really like the smell now look forward to my morning shave now.

Tiene buen olor, cunde mucho ya que es bálsamo con muchos aceites vegetales y es un poco graso. Lo considero un buen producto dado que está hecho de productos vegetales. Deja la piel nutrida tras la erosión del afeitado y quita la tirantez que dejan algunos jabones.

Cumple perfectamente su función, es agradable y el bote da para bastantes afectados. El sistema dosificador es algo extraño pero bien.
