Yeah..I know, you know, what I'm referring to (To each their own).I wish I could make this an air freshener, it is the most amazing smell ever... smells like heaven high fived Nirvana. The kiss of chocolate at the end, that sealed the deal for me.Caffeine!!!!!!

A cup of happiness!! Once upon a time...
UPDATE: this roaster is no longer in business, does not respond to FB requests either....disappointed ... pls come back!Original review: I’ve tried a few diff varieties of Teasia coffee. At first, my brewing process was espresso pot....slighly sour in the palate finish. So I tried my pour over, same issue: a bit harshness of the roast was coming thru. Finally, my Bialetti glass coffee press, produced great Sulawesi coffee nearly perfectly balanced, nutty, round coffee flavors similar to a good Colombian whole bean. Hint: grind on Medium / fine; “burst” the beans in 1 oz. of hot water for 1 minute prior to filling the press with boiling water; and gourmet’s tip is make a blend of central Am. to African or Indonesian beans to make a pleasing blend, reason: brewers secret is that Indonesian are often complemented with a mix of 1/3 central Am. beans...Enjoy!UPDATE: tried a bag of Papau New Guinea from this roaster. Excellent, well rounded. My new fav. Superbly roasted. Pls Teasia bring back to stock.

Gave it 2 chances, you get what you pay for.
Well, the price is definitely nice for this coffee, unfortunately, it's just not great. My first order I tried the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe. I wasn't familiar with it, but saw people rave about it, so gave it a whirl. It wasn't terrible, but wasn't great either, with consistent off flavors. A certain sourness, different from the common bitterness. It wasn't undrinkable, though I learned to use my Aeropress instead of my preferred pour-over, as the pour-over brings out all flavors, including the bad ones. And I didn't like drinking it black, or with a splash of cream as I normally do, and felt like I needed sugar or other 'cover-ups' to actually enjoy the cuppa. But, for a cheap, weekday morning, "Get Going!" cup... I started throwing in some mushroom powder, which gave it an earthy flavor that was an improvement, and survived through the bag. The weekends when I had pour-over of a better, but more expensive brand were definitely appreciated after 5 days of this stuff!Since I couldn't be sure if it was the roaster or the beans, I went ahead and gave them a 2nd chance. After all, look at the reviews! Every raves about how great their coffee is! I was a barista for a dozen years, owned my own shop for a good long while, have tried lots and lots of coffees, but don't consider myself any sort of expert or have an ultra refined palette. So surely it was just that first bag or the type of coffee. So, I ordered Costa Rican. It doesn't get much more straightforward than that. Not the most exciting origin. Simple, medium roast, not especially bold or nuanced. Should just taste like coffee. But, the coffee has the same off odors and taste, the same sour, "cheap bean" flavors. It's still drinkable, but working through my 2nd bag is challenging, and I find myself skipping coffee at home more and more mornings and just wait until I get to work where there's an espresso machine. So, if you just need cheap coffee that's better than some other cheap coffee, sure, this is cheap and okay. If you want something to look forward to in the morning, and enjoy while you're drinking it... keep looking. You'll probably have to pay more, unfortunately. I don't like the fact that everyone is selling coffee by the 12oz bag instead of by the pound now, and charging ridiculous amounts. But I've yet to find a cheaper alternative that's worth drinking.

Not bitter like some other coffees I've had
I am obsessed with the smell of the coffee beans! If I could live in this bag I would.....I usually add sugar to my coffee but I can actually drink this black because of how smooth it is. Rich warm flavors with a slight nutty aroma. Not bitter like some other coffees I've had.**UPDATE: I caved and added sugar...NO REGRETS, it's amazing.

I drink five cups of coffee a day and I love this!
I am not an expert on coffee by any means, but I do enjoy a good cup of Joe -- reasonably priced but beyond the cheap flat taste.I read somewhere that Nicaragua coffees are very good. And so I bought this 2lb whole bean coffee. I grind them at a small batch of perhaps 8 oz at a time and make my 5 cups of coffee to bring with me to work (one large travel mug & Thermos bottle to keep warm for the other half.I drink with a small amount of sugar (or honey) in my coffee because black coffee is too bitter for my stomach. But with this coffee, I don't need to add any sugar. I find this gentle taste pleasing. This is coming from a guy who picks Sumatra as my favorite! Don't get me wrong, it's not like this is a grand slam. But for the price I paid, I would buy it again. Great purchase.

Exceptionally delicious coffee beans.
This coffee is exceptionally and surprisingly good, especially as Uganda isn't known for its coffee (but should be). Not only are the beans, themselves, delicious, but they have been roasted with great skill, leaving coffee in the cup which tastes just as the beans smell when ground (which has always been my ideal). The beans are vacuum-packed, and when they arrived they were exceptionally fresh as though they'd just been roasted. The beans, themselves, are the Bourbon variety and have the same distinctive flavor of Santos Bourbon from Brazil, but the flavor is a good deal more intense than the Brazilian beans I've purchased. Bravo!

Treat yourself to a Great Cup of Coffee!
Peaberry coffee is my favorite! It's smoother and less acidic and bitter than a regular coffee bean. I hadn't tasted Tanzanian beans before and I was hoping it wouldn't disappoint since I bought 2 pounds of beans. The coffee didn't disappoint so it is a fantastic value. Rich flavor and no bitterness. I couldn't decide how to rate the "presentation" - coffee beans come in a resealable bag. The closure works and the bag holds up in the freezer, as we grind our beans for each brew.I highly recommend these coffee beans.
