I had one of their fans for five years and it ran almost all the time, every Summer. I still have the fan and it works fine. I wanted to add more fans to my place so I got this one. This is louder than my old one and a little bit bigger. But the benefit is that it moves more air than my old one. It looks even better made than the one I bought 5 years ago. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good value Box Fan *by A***R on August 29, 2020* Lasko fans have been around for a long time, so I was expecting the box fan to do what it was supposed to. Once you get over how loud it is (at least on the highest setting), it ability to move air is impressive. Great value for money. It's a shame that, as with many things nowadays, the fan has so much plastic. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ works for what I need it for but... *by D***D on July 8, 2019* I needed a pair of fans to circulate the air (intake at one end end of the room; exhaust at the other) in a 3 season porch that gets really hot in the summer. I first tried a couple of window fans (those small ones with the two plastic blades) - but they did not do a thing. I tested them with hanging tissues to check for air movement, but there was hardly any movement - even 7 feet from the intake side. I figured with these 2 - 20" fans it would be more than enough power. Not so much. I have them running on high speed and I can not feel any movement from the opposite side of the room - about 22' away (tissue test shows the air flow goes maybe 10-12'). But they did work better than the small window fans and are fine for what I need them to do - so I'll give them 4 stars.
