Solid, sturdy, heavy enough to stay where it's put in the aquarium, and produces a nice bubble wall. I'm using this in our 55 gallon with a new hygger dual adjustable pump (it came with two small ball airstones) and a new hygger disk air stone. Picture of tank shows all four installed. (And one of two very old clown loaches.) All three items are definitely worth the purchase, best I've found so far.

Best bubble wall ever! It's quiet, it stays at the bottom on it's own. The bubbles are the perfect size and actually come out uniformly the entire length. Even when it eventually gets clogged, it's so economical I can just buy a new one. Customer for life!

Great for smaller aquatic animals and ever their young. Bubbles are incredibly fine. Took about an hr before the bubbles really started to pump out throughout the entire air strip, so you might have to give it a little bit of time to get going.

Functional but I wish the bubbles were smaller.

It was a gift to my brother and he loves it totally changed the look of the tank with the waterfall effect

This works exactly as it describes and isn't too noisy. It was easy to install and perfect size to go in the background of a 29 gallon tank (with extra space on either side.) Quality seems good so far.

Works just like a regular air stone. Don't waiste your money, get a stone...

Just received the 5" air bubble strip. Manufacturer's suggested minimum air pump is 3w+, but I have always been curious if a smaller pump will work otherwise... I have a nano 1.5w for my 5Gallon tank, and really don't want 3w and their noise... Guess what? 1.5w works too! I don't even need to crank the volume control valve to max!! At max it was making big bubbles, but I can dial it down and have a wall of pretty nano bubbles while the pump quietly hummm away! I hope the aluminum is easier to clean than other ceramic material. I've only set it up for a few minutes and the Corys are already checking the new bubbles out. I hope they like it.

Works great lots of bubbles. Much better then those small air stones. I have other Hygger products and they're all good quality items.
