Kayak Lights for Night Kayaking, Battery Operated Red and Green Navigation Lights for Dinghy, Canoe, Jetski

So I don't use them for a boat or kayak I'm security for a public schools and I use them to be seen by students and cars I used them for a red light and green light to stop cars so my students can cross or I can stop my students so I can move the parents along there super lite and waterproof and pretty bright to be so small they come with a little hook to connect I added a rubber bands so I can put it in the middle of my hand so I still have use of hands and if needed I can put over gloves on colder days

Cheap materials and parts. Not waterproof (or even water resistant). Not sure it will last This is strange product. It looks so well designed and functional and exactly what I needed for my small tender to comply with local regulations at night. When you open the packaging though, the cheap production methods pop out at you immediately. The red on/off switch seems to be super glued in place (and not in a consistent manner). Additionally, the clear plastic top protecting the LED also seems to have been super glued onto the main body. While the body does screw onto the base with o rings, after one night in the rain I noticed condensation and droplets on the inside of the clear plastic top. At that point it started randomly turning on and off. Trying to get the moisture out was a nightmare (obviously as a result of all that glue you cannot disassemble, nor self fix/diagnose a problem) and I ended up having to buy silica gel to try and get the moisture out. It is a real pity because if you go to the shoreline website you feel they promise quality. What you get in the package is something all together different.

I have larger lights but it seems like they never work when I need them to (or I can't remember where I left them!) I've attached these to the handles of my inflatable and now I will always have lights at night if we come back late to the boat. They look great, work always and are very convenient and secure! Love them!

Love these for those time the running lights go out for whatever reason or just to have on the dinghy.

I guess you get what you pay for... These lights are about $2 each if the 18 batteries are $4. So for that price I guess these can be considered disposable lights. I don't like wasn't money but I don't expect they'll last long. No rubber seam to keep water out, button is extremely sensitive and they occasionally turn off just from lightly banging against the kayak. For I price I guess I can't expect much, but at least a rubber seam on the case. I guess I'll glue it or tape it up.

These are perfect for kayaks. Just attach to your rigging. I've purchased several sets and given some as gifts too. Red for Port (left) on the stern of my boat, Green for Starboard (right) on the stern. I find these easy on the eyes for night time paddling. As small as these lights are, they are extremely bright and make you highly visible to larger boaters.

These lights are very bright and simple. They came nicely packaged with A TON of extra batteries. My issue is that one of my green lights didn't work at all (even after changing the batteries with known good ones) and one of my white lights responds intermittently to button presses. They aren't waterproof but look fairly water resistant to light splashes and sprays though I'd plan to keep them dry or else buy a waterproof cover. If the seller can replace the two faulty units without making me return all of them to do so (and risk it again) I'd be very happy with this purchase and be glad to change my review, but for this price and how inexpensive these look, they should all work.

Mounted the lights on my kayak and after one trip the lights have leaked water and no longer work! Cheap and nasty. Very disappointing. Do not purchase!

Cheap and breaks easily. Button on/off doesn’t work on some and battery died rapidly . Wasn’t a good buy for my paddleboard night excursion
