I bought this for the doorways to the rooms we were working in. I get so sick and tired of hanging plastic and having to tape and untape it every single time I come and go from the room. So when I seen this, I thought hey that might be perfect. It's fairly heavy duty plastic that won't get ripped or torn like your typical 3M painters plastic would. It's easy to come through the plastic. And even while holding things or wheeling materials or tools through the doorway is simple. Just walk right through it and it immediately closes behind you on its own. Strong enough for job sites, simple design, easy to hang up, and adds a little privacy with tinted color to the plastic.It's thicker, maybe twice as thick or more than the heavy duty 3mil construction trash bags for demo and job sites trash and debris.

Installation instructions were simple. Installation was simple. The setup was easy, and user friendly. I set it up myself with just a stool to help. It gets hot hot HOT here in AZ, and this door piece is helping my RV keep AC inside and bugs out. Had that vinyl smell when it arrived (like new pool floaties smell), but the smell aired out after 1 day. The vinyl is only sort of durable; a box I brought in had caught the vinyl briefly on it's corner, and there is barely a pin-hole left. Otherwise it's great for it's intended purpose

Installed mine the day it was delivered. Bought this to help insulate one of my bathrooms (it has a “back room” attached to the main bathroom, and it is always FREEZING cold since the heat doesn’t go back there, and it has poor insulation in the first place). I am using this product to seal off that back room so that the main bath area is still pleasant/warm to use during the winter season.Installation was super easy, and though I can’t speak on it’s long term durability (I’ve only had it for a couple hours now), the material seems thicker and stronger than I was expecting. It also allows for some light to shine through (it is brown in color). I could immediately tell it was blocking the cold air before I was even done installing it!However, there are a few drawbacks that I’ve already noticed:1. The adhesive is not very strong, but the product does come with push pins if you want to further secure the Velcro strip in place. So they are accommodating the weak adhesion, but it still would make more sense to strengthen the adhesive instead of supplying push pins for extra support... or both?! Just a thought.2. This only seals on three sides! The fourth side (presumably the bottom side) of this product is totally unsealed... no Velcro, no nothing. Sooo for a product that’s meant to help insulate, it is quite strange that there is an entire side of the door that is completely open and unsealed. In my case, the doorway I wanted to seal was shorter than the screen itself, so I installed mine so that the bottom portion of the screen had some extra slack, and therefore can “hug” the floor a bit to help block the draft. But seriously, an extra magnetic strip that runs along the bottom would make this product 10000x better.3. The magnetic strip isn’t perfect. The magnets are weak when I want them to be strong, and strong when I want them to be weak. Let me explain... I want the magnets to be strong when the door is closed, so that there is a good seal. But the magnets do not create a great seal, in fact there are visible gaps left between the magnets. On the other hand, when I try to walk through the door, the strength of the magnets can outweigh the strength of the adhesive, and cause the adhesive to come off the wall when I try to pull apart the magnets. This just means that I have to put extra care into the process of walking through this door, so as to not remove the adhesive; but this is a major inconvenience if you plan on using the doorway often.Ultimately, this product works, it just has a few minor flaws that decrease its effectiveness. This product DOES WORK, and seems like it will last for a while, it’s just not the most effective option out there. For the price I’d say you could do better, but for ease of installation I am quite pleased. 10 minutes max and it should be good to go! My lease ends in a few months, so this is actually the best temporary solution I have found, between effectiveness and convenience. Hope this helps!

I am looking for a soundproofing door curtain. This curtain can provide some isolation to light or to temperature, but it cannot make a difference in terms of sound. I returned it.

This were easy to hang up and work great to keep the heat in and cold out.

I’ve used other products like this before because I have dogs and I’m unable to install a dog door because I rent my house. I bought this because of the color and thought it would keep the heat out from the sun. Very disappointed with the quality. The magnets are not strong at all so it was always open. I’ve tried other brands that are clear and they are amazing and close automatically with very strong magnets.

Install was easy with the velcro. The adhesive is strong; I didn't have to use the provided tacks. It is easy for people and cats to go through and closes up by itself as designed (exception below). We use it to keep the AC in while allowing the cats access to the room as they please. I bought a second one to seal off the living area from kitchen. It keeps the AC in and the kitchen smells/heat out. Very nice. One point to note is that I use portable AC's at home and they suck air in from the rooms creating a vacuum on this curtain. While it's running it will stay closed but you may need to take a little care to make sure it reseals properly after going through. Usually it is just the bottom portion that doesn't reseal. It's just a simple matter of pushing the opposite way on the curtain after entry to let it do it's thing proper. I plan to get another one for another room the cats like to access on a whim all day and night long... (Bought the one curtain to avoid closing the doors while the AC's are on and having the cats scratch at the door throughout the night....)

I was not going to buy this, so my friend decided to buy it for me anyway. Let me tell you.. this is the BEST thing ever!! I live 4 streets back from the ocean. It doesn’t matter the weather, I can leave my door open, have this hanging, and my dogs can go in and out.. and it doesn’t let the cold in. My house feels the same. I even smoke on my porch, and it doesn’t go in my house.
