The plant came in the UPS truck. The new growth was burned and looks sad. I have been buying this ZZ plant from Costa Farms and the plants always looked great, healthy and full. The ZZ plant I got yesterday was damaged and about 1/3 of the size plants in the pot. Not happy with the plant. I payed $15.00 more for this last plant from just 3 months ago. Not happy. Thought I had a great place to order plants. Not so sure now. UPDATE on the ZZ plant. I contacted Costa Farms and sent them a picture of the plant that was damaged. So happy to say that they sent me a replacement plant in just a few days. This new plant was absolutely gorgeous. In the hot days of summer here in Texas, I think the best way to get a plant is to have it shipped thru FedEx two day. When I received the new plant it was standing tall and not curled to one side and damaged due to the heat. I will be ordering all my future plants thru Costa Farms and if needed, I will pay a little extra for shipping. Thank you Costa Farms for caring about your customers. I am changing my rating to a 5 star. I would give them a 6 star if possible.

**UPDATE** Added two closer pictures of my plant. It's been 3.5 months now. It's growing four new rhizomes. It lost one single rhizome with a single leaf (the cut stub on the left that's drying out). It has been healthy and happy, just as you'd expect from a zz. /update. I had a lot of trouble finding a zz plant locally, so I took the risk of ordering one online. I ended up finding one at a far away Lowe's while this was in shipping. At the time my plant was supposed to arrive four days later than expected, so I decided it would probably be dead. I bought the zz plant at Lowe's so I wouldn't be entirely without one. Surprisingly, it still arrived on time and it was alive. Soil was soft and damp still. I cut a couple yellowed and dying leaves off, but otherwise it seems very healthy. However, I spent $6 more for this plant (the small one with black pot) that's 13" tall from soil to top than I spent on this very large zz from Lowe's (in the plant stand) that is 21" tall. Not to mention the larger plant has much more plant, about 3x more stems and leaves and is much more mature. It's good if you can't find one locally, but if you know of any local nurseries or stores who carry them, you'll probably save money and get to pick the one you like. Other than that, it is a healthy and happy plant that I look forward to growing as large as my other zz.

Costa Farms does an outstanding job of shipping healthy plants that are so carefully packed you can take them from the box straight to their location without needing to trim any unhealthy leaves or “ freshen” the plant up. I was hesitant to order a living plant through the mail, but will definitely order from them again for a robust, lovely plant!

Plants came on time and was absolutely beautiful. In great condition, will purchase another one soon.

Was hesitant to buy due to mixed reviews but the plant arrived in good condition. It’s healthy looking and a good size for a starter plant. The pot that it came with was deformed but i didn’t mind since the plant itself wasn't damaged and was planning to transfer it to a bigger pot anyway. Well worth the money in my opinion.

My plant is dying after the second day, only 3 ramifications, nothing compare with the image. the soil is not good, and very bad packaging.
