It did what it could!!!
This product helped a lot!My artist used it while doing my 3 hours tattoo in between color changes which was about 4 times…so I would say every 30 minutes. It made the pain bearable!! If I had not used this I would have abandoned the tattoo for sure! It did not get rid of pain altogether BUT it made me comfortable enough to endure such a large piece.I’ll hoping it will help with the itchy heal phase now cause that’s a dragon in itself! If you’re looking for something that’s going to TOTALLY make pain not existing I would use “Tattoo Numbing Cream Co” numbing cream. It’s a gameChanger. I didn’t have time to order and got this product instead since it was next day delivery on Amazon. It did what it was suppose to do! A great buy!

Fast acting and convenient for the price
Didn’t think it would actually work at first. Within 3 minutes arm was numb and didn’t even feel the tattoo

Good. As expected.
LolThis disappeared minutes after opening the package. The kids have a friend whose skin is crazy reactive to every other balm, cream, etc. But Hustle Butter doesn't seem to be a problem for him. Guessing it will be another tattoo weekend around here.If you are a fan of HB products you already know they are big into butters and oils in the products. This spray doesn't have nearly as much of that in the ingredients list. It does indeed have some oils, but the spray leans more into the healing extracts. It sprays on really nice, but you will want to rub it into the skin, especially if you are using it in process. Which brings is to a nice feature/benefit of this spray. It is actually meant to be used before/after and even during the tattoo process. This spray has both numbing and disinfecting properties. It will be easy to grab the bottle and spray the area and wipe and continue. Disinfecting is important in every aspect of tattooing. Before, during, after. Room, equipment, skin. All of it. I really appreciate when companies make an effort to make that more convenient. What's not to like about being able to numb, moisturize, AND provide more pain relief for the person getting the tattoo while you are working on the area.As for pain relief, this is a 4% lidocaine and I have seen 5% available in other products. Each one declares they are the most pain free. Pain tolerance varies from person to person and depends where on the body you are working. Follow instructions. Most importantly, pay attention and ask the person on the receiving end of the pain how they are doing. Feedback is your best friend.HB is a good brand and they do what they promise. This spray has the added benefit of being handy to grab and quickly spray the area. If you appreciate a thoughtful company and are on the hunt for something handy to use during a tattoo this will work for you. The price is very reasonable for what you are getting.

You Need This!
First things first, do not get this expecting it's going to numb you up before getting a tattoo. If you need to do that, you're going to need to look at other products. Where this product shines is during and after the tattooing process. I sat for 7.5 hours for my tattoo and thought my arm might burst into flames at the 5-hour mark. A good dousing of this Hustle Butter numbing spray and a 30-minute break, and I was good to go. I won't say I couldn't feel anything, but it was a heck of a lot more bearable after using the spray. I imagine if you are smarter than I am and don't sit for so long, it'd have a stronger numbing effect. The other way this product shines is during the healing process. After I got home from my tattoo session, I unwrapped my arm and gave it a good spray. That felt so good - the coolness on my skin, the numbness on my freshly tortured skin - it was nice. Also, you know that period where your tattoo is healing and itchy and starts to look a bit crusty? This spray drives down the discomfort, and it has antiseptic properties to help prevent infection. This is on the pricey side if you take into consideration the small amount you receive, but trust someone who has a lot of ink: you need this and it's worth it.

Love an easy spray/travel option!
I often find myself traveling for tattoos - and most tattoo artists have options for numbing if needed. But - seeing this as an option when you’re sitting for long days of tattoos to bring with yourself is great. At only 1.9 oz you can easily fly with it in a carry on. I love that it locks on the top - so when I throw it in my bags I don’t have to worry it’s just going to leak out on everything I own. It is important for people to know these generally work better once the skin is broken - so spraying it in the middle of a tattoo and letting it settle helps calm your nerves and helps get you through the tattoo. The spray does come out a little looser than I’d want - I do wish it was a little more thick, but it has barely a scent to it so nothing really to complain about. Definitely recommend for people that get tattooed and potentially might worry about getting through! No reason not to have as an option here!

It does numb
This does numb, has the 4% lidocaine that I was looking for. I did feel I needed to use more than I typically do from other brands, however, I have tried brands that required more product than this. Having said that, it does depend on the gauge of needle you are using. I have used this for Microderm also, again, depending on the depth you are going. Using that comparison, this is better than other numbing products I have tried. I would be willing to grab another bottle. Definitely worth a try if you are looking for other brands to use, I will purchase again.

This tattoo numbing spray is driving me crazy bc ive gone to get shots and IV’s and i keep forgetting that i have it in my bag but i have sprayed it on to see how it feels and how long the numbing last i do like the fact that it locks it actually smells nice after the first spray the atomizer it actually nice i think its actually the perfect size too to just throw in your pocket or bag when your on your way to go get your tat it does leave a bit of a sticky flim over top so please wipe off after you applied your desirable amount so for now 5 stars until i update on functionality
