Malaysian Trumpet Snails are great for the aquarium because they burrow themselves in your gravel and sand and eat the particulates that settle there. At the same time as they do this, they also aerate the substrate. MTS breed easily and rapidly. i had one 2 hitch hike on some plants to my tank... now a few months later, i have tons of them... these are medium to small but will grow rapidly into reproductive adults in a very short amount of time.
