These are FABULOUS!!! Always accurate & of nice heavy card stock. I have bought many sets & each one was fabulous! I had one problem & they bent over backward to make it right!!! I LOVE this seller!!!The 200 GSM (similar to 70lb Astrobrite) stock used for these is NOT the kind you would sew thru & then rip out. I punch a hole in the center of the hexies with a hole punch for easier removal later. It is the kind you sew together & then removed once all the pieces around it have been sewn together (all sides of the one you want to remove are sewn to another piece – see the pics).I buy Jellyrolls I like (I get overwhelmed trying to find stuff that matches). DO NOT wash it by machine (disintegrates-too small). Cut off the selvage (it shrinks at a different rate when washed & messes up your finished piece) & cut the strips into 2&1/2" squares. I fabric glue ONE side to a hex template, baste the 2 1/2" square of fabric (no, I don't trim the sides - I just fold it over to make sharp corners & do a couple of extra stitches if it seems like it is too close to the edge). When I have a bunch of them all basted, I sort it into groups for my "flowers" or “diamonds” & put each set into a little snack zip-lock so I don’t forget the layout. Then I sew (tiny stitches on the edges NOT thru the template) the “petals” around the center piece & remove the centerpiece with a crochet hook thru the punched hole. THEN I stitch the sides of the flower together WITHOUT the middle piece. I can fold the sides together without folding the hexie template.I can reuse these many times. I have also dry ironed them so they go flat again if they are heavily used. I put a kitchen towel under & over them so the left over glue didn’t stick to my iron or the board. BUT if you aren’t as fastidious as me it isn’t that bad.So far I have bought about 2000 of them to make a queen quilt, but you can probably get away with less if you don’t want everything all basted before you start to sew them together.I use single strand Gutermann 100% cotton thread & the equivalent of 2 jelly rolls & 4 yards of white fabric to surround my flowers. BUT that is just me….

I received my hexagons today and have tested about 12 to ensure they were correct in size and they are! I have even started using the new hexagons! I enjoy sewing theses and using the pre cut paper hexagons makes it easier!

I am making a hexagon charm quilt. I needed something to sew by hand while recovering from surgery. I am using all my scrap fabrics and have made over 300 hexagons so far. I know you can reuse them but I ordered another package of 300 because I want to keep making them before I assemble the quilt. Using this product makes it very easy to baste over the hexagons and sewing them together is also easy and fun.

These are just the right thickness and very sturdy, but easy to remove after piecing, and they don't tear apart easily, so they can be reused over and over. I love these hexies! Definitely a great product. I'll be purchasing more as my quilt grows, for sure!

Their great but I cannot use more than once cause when sewing together I bend them. So I hv a punch I use instead. But these are nice & are very useful

Perfect cuts, good weight, these are terrific for English Paper Piecing. And I don't have to cut them by hand. Will definitely purchase from this seller again.
