Re Garnet Sweet Potato Slips for Growing - Easy to Grow, Red Yams (6 Slips)

While I've had mixed results with these slips (I've purchased them three times), my lack of better success is almost certainly operator error. First thing: the moment they arrive, PLANT THEM. Once in awhile I'll receive an Amazon package and won't open it for a day, forgetting that I'd ordered something perishable. That can be a harsh existence for a living plant. I'm a hack gardener and haven't yet mastered when to harvest, etc., but I'll assume my sweet potatoes are alive down there 'cause the above-ground growth has been pretty good. We'll see!

The slips are worthless, they were sticks with very little root, I waited until they had roots planted then and they died. I wasted my 40$. Don't buy.

I received 13 slips (ordered 12)! They were all in excellent condition. The package contained very easy to understand and well written instructions on planting and care. I got them right into the soil as recommended. The price was well below any others that I found. I would also like to add that I received the product exactly one week earlier than expected. I would most certainly recommend the company CZ Grain. I have no doubt that I will get a bumper crop of Red Garnet sweet potatoes (my favorite). Photo of plants taken 5 weeks after planting! I think we'll have a good harvest!

I’ve planted many potatoes over the years. Not one of them grew anything. I should have sent, them back when the slips arrived. They didn’t look good. Will definitely not be ordering these again.

Arrived puny and not very healthy. Only one of the plants actually survived. I was very disappointed!

I received two different kind of sweet potatoes slips from this company. I was not disappointed ,sure they looked like sticks until I look closer and saw a tiny buds and root when I unwrap them. I'm so excited
