A Beautiful Year in the Bible: The 52-Week Bible Study for Women

I am happy it doesn’t have set dates to read the verses, I’m human and sometimes I fall out of the habit or forget, and I can pick right up where I left off. Yes missing days will make it longer than a year to read but honestly reading the Bible in its entirety is all I want. It’s beautifully designed and the reflective questions help me relate to and understand what I just read. I’m so happy I purchased this!

I have liked this bible study guide very much. What I like about it is that it’s not just a chronological go through the Bible. I’ve tried that before and never finished. Although this does do that it doesn’t at the same time. It skips around from different books in the Bible old and New Testament, more so relating to a subject each week, however it will continue to take you through the books of the Bible. By the end of the year you will have read the entire Bible. Makes it more interesting I think. It has kept me more engaged than just reading from Genesis forward. It also gives some questions to go over and think about. I would definitely recommend this as a study guide for reading the Bible. Although this says for women, I don’t think you have to be a woman to appreciate this study guide. :) although it is pretty.

What a truly beautiful bible study! This is a "soft-covered " 52 Week Bible study for women and I can't say enough about it! Gorgeous, easy to hold, easy to read and understand... just enough bite - sized nuggets to get you immersed each week! Amazing artwork, that will transport you as you move thru your study. It makes you *want* to dive into your day. The artwork is a fantastic addition if like me, visuals make the world of difference! While this is a "Year in the Bible" study, it is not a front to end reading of the Bible, which we do see quite often. This amazing study lays out a Topic, applicable reading plans, a synopsis of the topic, a narrative of what the topic means and how it applies to the Word and finally a set of reflective questions, hence where the Study comes into play. So many fantastic Topics ranging from: Hope and Patient Expectation Extending Hospitality Repairing Relationships Embracing Life's Seasons The list goes on with 52 Studies. I highly recommend that you pick up a copy for yourself, along with the beautiful set of Alabaster Highlighters, set yourself up for the coming New Year. Make the commitment to your relationship with God and your Spirit! This study also makes for a wonderful Christmas gift as the holidays approach! Give a copy to everyone in your circle! This is a beautiful study. I like the theme concept. I found a mistake on page 133 under week 32 Strength & Perserverance where it should say Day 3/ 1 Chronicles 1-4, but it lists 2 Chronicles 1-4.

This has been a great resource! I have been raised Christian, but never really studied the Bible and felt so overwhelmed by doing so. (And also felt bad I never had). This has been great in connecting passages and giving in depth questions. I’ve learned so much and deepened my faith like I’ve always wanted! If you are new to reading the Bible, or like me and just never have and want to you won’t regret this. I will say that while I think doing the reading/study in a week is totally possible I’ve taken it more like two weeks to do one week of study as I’m enjoying going a bit deeper. I like though that it isn’t calendar based (like January 1st-7th) but rather just titled “week 5” so I don’t feel pressure to stay within certain dates. I could see the allure of doing the spiral bound one and if you have the extra money for it- do the spiral bound one. However, I’ve been happy with this one myself and find it easy enough to write in.

This study guide has been great in helping me learn more about the Bible!!!! I love the weekly scriptures and the synopsis that go along with it. The questions also really help me to reflect on my Christian walk with God, while deepening my connection with Him. However, I think some additional journaling space would be helpful. I’m not able to fit the notes I have after reading each passage. And I occasionally question the order in which I’m leaning about the stories in the Bible; some weeks in the beginning of the study guide go straight to the Psalms of David when it didn’t teach me about who David was first. I feel the books of Samuel should be read first so I understand David’s story and what he was going through before I get to his Psalms. But overall I’m really enjoying this study guide as I learn more about the Bible.

We’ve been using this Bible study for about six to seven months now, and it has been a truly phenomenal experience. My family and I started a small group with close friends, and we’ve been meeting almost every Sunday for the past couple of months. It has honestly been one of the best decisions we’ve made. The stories are engaging, meaningful, and easy to follow, and we absolutely love the discussion questions. They spark deep conversations and help everyone connect on a more personal level. This study has brought us closer together and strengthened our faith in such a special way.
