Helped us -- worth the purchase
Worked very well for us. Flies come in through our doggy door because our largest dog has an annoying habit of walking outside and pausing to assess things, with the dog door flap still resting on his backside, a habit that our smaller dog has started to copy. That leaves a wide open spot for flies to travel into our living room and kitchen. I can easily get the flies on our sunny kitchen window (with a damp old sponge) when they land to sunbathe, but it's hard to keep track of what's happening on the living room windows. The window fly traps have really helped catch the stray flies that land in the living room. I recommend that you first note where on your window the flies are tending to conjugate and put the traps there. The traps I just randomly stuck on the windows aren't catching nearly as many flies as the traps I put very deliberately in position near the window sill, where I had seen flies land before. These traps wouldn't work to catch ALL the flies that wander into our house, but they certainly help enough that we're going to be sure to have a couple sets on hand every summer/fall. Easy to apply. Easy to remove. Tool required: fingernail.

BEST FLY TRAPS EVER INVENTED
Buy these! You wonโt regret it! I have tried just about every fly trap out there, and these are absolutely the best. I love that they are unobtrusive, unscented and hugely effective. Mine have caught house flies, fruit flies, spiders and even hornets. I have used these for the last couple of years, but this year they were most effective because I didnโt wait for the flies to start buzzing. As soon as spring hit, I put one in the upper corner of most windows around my house. You can even cut them in half so you can have a more traps to spread around. This year we have barely been bothered by any flying pests! I put them at the top of my windows behind my fabric valances/ drapes and I never have to see the gross dead bugs. I just have a clean house with no pests! The adhesive on the back is why I will stick to the Black Flag brand. I can put the traps up on my windows with privacy film and take the traps down without damaging the privacy film. You can also reposition or move the traps several times without worrying that the traps will lose their grip and fall down.

Sorry flies, now you dies
Every year in summer, for no reason I can figure out, I get a minor infestation of house flies. I've tried, well and truly, to go the 'live and let live' route. For years, I've progressed from trying to open my windows and screens with lights off to let them out. Then I tried that, and for the ones who wouldn't leave, I got out the cordless vaccuum. This year, I did try the 'don't have to go home but you can't stay here' option, but I was just tired of it. So I got this item. The flies did kind of congregate around windows, but the windows they went to were dependent on what time of day it was. One constant was that they would consider my floor lamp a night club. So, I got this 3 pack, and put one of these over the top of my floor lamp (the floor lamp has a flat, round top over the LED lights). I will say this: Definitely use nylon/ latex gloves when installing these things. They are very easy to place, but you will spend forever trying to wash off any adhesive you get on you. After 3 days, no more house flies buzzing around. They were all stuck to this thing. Again, use gloves to remove, but they are completely effective. It's a little gross to dispose of the strip (for me, at least), but the minor gagging was a completely minor price to pay for having my house fly-free for the rest of the year. Sorry fly guys, I tried to go the 'live and let live' route, but you weren't having any of it.

stuck on you.
saying I love this would be like admitting I enjoy killing bugs. It does work very well- once you've managed to get it to stick to a wall or window and then gotten the trap paper cover off the glue. It is very sticky and takes patience, a few well-chosen curse words and the blessings of the gods of death to separate it without becoming the victim of your own devices. cons: the adhesive on the back where you attach the trap to the window is thin and will not hold up well. keep it out of reach of cats- unholy mess results There is no place to place your hands while removing the paper the covers the glue trap. This could stand improvement pros: the trap lasts over a month depending on how many bugs you catch. It will catch all flying insects, Trap will stay in place even on rough wood once you have it up. recommend for indoor use, windows work best (glass) as the trap is near invisible. I will buy more next summer.

window strips are useless
The window strips seem to be just 2-sided pieces of scotch tape. Flies fly all around it and crawl around it and somehow never manage to crawl or land onto it. For all I know it might repeal flies. Sure they are cheap but the value is zero.

Works immediately and terrifically!
These Raid strips are AWESOME! We'd somehow get about a dozen flies in the house every few days - talk about annoying... Didn't want to spray or use no-pest strips; that hanging curling flypaper caught a few, but not many. Thought I'd try these, they're four to a pack. They're about 6" by 2", almost completely transparent. A little sticky strip on one side to adhere to windows; the other side is very, and completely, sticky. A little thicker than paper, basically unnoticeable. A little study revealed "our" flies like to gather on windows and sliding glass doors, behind drapes and blinds, along the bottom edge. Stuck the four strips in those locations - also less noticeable there. After a couple days caught at least two dozen flies, no more buzzing around - completely satisfied! Will order a couple more packs, to use as replacements when these get "full". One of the most successful products I've ever bought. Thank you, Raid!

Catches a lot of flies
Works great. Catches a lot of flies. Sticks on a window so not intrusive.

Import sticker data is all rubbed off. Actual product carton was damaged and product had black fungi in corners. Rs 500 plus 100 shipping for this old stock and just 4 individual traps is too costly.
