Gildan Women's Heavy Cotton V-Neck T-Shirt, 2-Pack

Although these shirts fit to size, they're 100% cotton and will shrink in the wash.Before I purchased these T-shirts, I read others' reviews who suggest going up one or two sizes. I wear an X-Small, so I bought a Small and Medium. Both were of course too big, but because they're 100% cotton, I figured they'd shrink. I kept the small and put them through the washer and dryer. They shrunk as expected, and now fit me perfectly. One of them I threw in the dryer a second time to remove the wrinkles before I wore it, and it shrunk a little more. So I'm not sure I'll dry them again. Knowing this, I think I'll try a Medium next time.These T-shirts are good quality, and you can't beat the price - about $7 each! They're on the thicker side and do not feel too lightweight or flimsy. I've paid over $20 before for T-shirts that were practically see through (like the T-shirts you get at amusement parks or special events), and these are definitely better quality.They are also comfortable and I like the V-neck. And they aren't too wrinkly when they come out of the dryer. Others have noted that they're not soft, and I agree. But they're comfortable to me the thickness is more important.Lastly, you can't beat the color selection.

These t shirts are durable and well made. I do not dry them in the dryer, but no shrinking in the washer. True to size.

Exactly what I like in a T-Shirt.Perfect weight. Perfect fit (Not tight. Not Baggy)Sleeve length also just right and not big. I have uploaded pictures with shirt untucked so you can see length and tucked.I am 5'7 130lbs and bought Mediums.

You might wanna size up runs a little small.

All day or night shirt

Fairly well made, but it runs small and tight. The fabric is cotton, but it isn't soft. It actually feels rough and, even though it's knitted, it isn't very stretchy.

It says it is heavy weight cotton. It IS cotton but it’s lightweight, not heavy and while it’s comfortable and looked ok fresh out of the package, now that I have worn it for a few weeks, the fabric is pilling badly where my arms rub the sides of my breasts. It fits well enough and I like the style and for the price it’s ok, but ones of the two is already so pilled it’s unfit to wear out. It’s fine for at home and working around the house but it’s not high quality cotton knit. You get what you pay for.If you like a snug T shirt, get your usual size. If you like a looser fit like I do, go one size higher.

5’1, 130lbs. Ordered a large with the hope of shrinking it once and forever being able to both machine wash AND dry. Worked out well. Definitely too big at first, shrunk to an acceptable fit. I like a little bit of room. Most people my size would probably wear a medium.

Super happy with this purchase. I've been buying basic Tshirts from Walmart for years but they keep getting thinner and thinner and last year they were practically see-through so I was on a mission to find new basic tees. These are amazing... Nice thick material and not see-through whatsoever. Should have been buying them years ago!! And what I really love about these Tshirts is that they are long (I'm 5'9 and it hits the top of my bum) and the sleeves are longer too so it covers more upper arm.I agree with some other reviewers that the material is a little on the scratchy/rough side but it does not bother me while wearing and I have super sensitive skin. And usually cotton softens the more you wash so I'm not too worried.

I am normally a medium and I read that the sizing for this T-shirt is smaller than it should be. So I ordered a large and it turned out that I should've ordered medium as usuall!So don't confuse yourself over the size. If you are a medium, order a medium!

I tried these T-shirts out because I needed sturdy pajama tops and did not want to pay a lot of money. These T-shirts are more than satisfactory, they are a steal at this price. I was not looking for really fashionable wear but I needed something that was a good quality and well-made. This is an excellent t-shirt for that purpose. Nice, thick, sturdy cotton which I hang to dry to avoid shrinkage and wrinkles. I ordered them in a couple of sizes bigger than I usually do and they fit just right. I believe they will last a good long time and I will definitely buy more very soon.
